The restaurant at the Holiday Inn in Sharm el Sheikh was a self service buffet, but waiters frequently asked if they could get us another drink. The buffet was extensive. It became rather predictable, but there was plenty to choose from.

Our room was a reasonable size with large twin beds, TV, fridge, en suite bathroom and a balcony with table and two comfortable chairs. We could see the sea and Tiran Island, and we were not directly overlooked. We booked a trip to Cairo with Odyssey, and... (read more)

Stayed at Holiday Inn Resort on B&B basis last week of January. Disappointed in general standard of hotel given its 4 star status, it's definitely more 3 star. Staff appeared friendly enough although always seemed to wait for tips for everything. We changed rooms on arrival and although downgraded from a suite to a standard room, receptionist tried to charge us extra and only relented after intervention from holiday rep.
