Salix Pr stantia is a Great bat, get one just make sure it is all knocked in properly otherwise it cracks and you waste lots of money! Any pace on the ball, the middle will come into full play (it is not hard to find the middle). If you knock it in and take good care of it, I can't think of a better bat.

Loved this bat. Last season I batted number 7 with a Kookburra. I now open and got 50* in my first match this season. Good grief this bat goes. One little push of the wrists and before you can look up the ball has raced away for four.

This is an amazing bat get one, the edges are a little bit thin but its got a huge sweet spot and I can get great power. Definitely recommend it.

I absolutely hated this bat. The first game I used it in I only hit 278* including only 50 4's and 10 6's. I was very dissapointed. With the kookaburra big kahuna I hit a top score of 408 including 50 6's.Kookaburra was a lot better. So if you play for England under 21's like me, and want to hit big scores, do not choose this bat.

Absoloutley, fantastically, amazingly fantastic i love this cricket bat, there are no bad points what so ever. The Salix Prarstania is really light but has an extreme amount of power.

I have had this Salix Pr stantia bat for 4 months and have enjoyed getting better and better results out of it.
My batting performance at first was dodgy but now I have got used to it, I now bat 5 for my school.
I totally recommend it even though it costs a lot

    After a lifetime of using 2lb 14oz Fearnleys I chose a Salix Praestantia after borrowing a friend's.

It took a season to get totally used to it, but in it's second season it seems to have matured and really come into it's own.

If I time one and it comes out of the middle I can forget about running a quick single, the ball races away. You can tell it's a quality piece of wood just by looking at the grain and by picking it up.

If you can negotiate a discount from the seller definitely ge ...

A Pr stantia doesn't come cheap. But you will be purchasing an excellent bat that will get better and better with use. Maintain this wood well and it will reward you with that all familiar "ping" when you strike the ball of the middle. All I can say is: Never mind the "big names",GET A PR STANTIA
