Salix Pr stantia is a Great bat, get one just make sure it is all knocked in properly otherwise it cracks and you waste lots of money! Any pace on the ball, the middle will come into full play (it is not hard to find the middle). If you knock it in and take good care of it, I can't think of a better bat. (read more)

After a lifetime of using 2lb 14oz Fearnleys I chose a Salix Praestantia after borrowing a friend's.
It took a season to get totally used to it, but in it's second season it seems to have matured and really come into it's own.

A Pr stantia doesn't come cheap. But you will be purchasing an excellent bat that will get better and better with use. Maintain this wood well and it will reward you with that all familiar "ping" when you strike the ball of the middle. All I can say is: Never mind the "big names",GET A PR STANTIA (read more)
