Good Points: My Puli is always happy. She is loyal, very well behaved, will do what ever she is told to and she is quiet.

Bad Points: It was difficult to start training, but once she and I learned what she responded to, she was very easy to train.

General comments: I wouldn't be without her. She is happy, fun, I can take her anywhere with confidence and I cannot imagine life without her. She has a big dog personality in a small dog; perfect! If I don't walk her then she exercises herself running up and down the stairs, and I have no problem keeping her in a town.

I would recommend the Hungarian Puli to anyone.

At the beginning my male was overly protective of me attacking ever ...

I purchased a Hungarian Puli because I liked the guard dog instinct of the breed and the way they look. Big mistake. Never buy a breed through looks alone as the personality is far more important. He was very loyal and would have defended you to best of his abilities and also kept a great watch on the house - but this involved him barking needlessly and sometimes constantly. As a sheepdog bred 1000 years ago to help isolated shepherds with their flocks it stands to reason town life is not really ...
