Bought mine as a replacement for my trusty Browning 425 Multichoke. I have the fixed choke version (because thats all my dealer had!) and bought it because of it's lightweight. I have used it extensively for walked up rough shooting and flight ponding for duck. No problems with steel shot, even though my local gunshop said that it couldn't be used in this model! I checked with the Beretta chaps at the Gamefair, and as I suspected, the gun is 'proofed' for steel shot.
For me, it's saved my neck ...

I bought the ultralight deluxe for a mix of game and wildfowling and have found it to be an absolute delight. I have only managed to convert one other person and he feels the same; that it is the way forward. Muonting and swinging through is an ease once you get used to the overall lightness. I have the 28" game version with multichoke and paid GBP 950 + VAT in May 2002. I understand they have gone up substantially since then and there is a six month waiting list now from some dealers.
