Good Points: The Rio Forge Sport has a good sound quality and is simple to operate. It also comes with a music managing software disc that is also really easy to use.

Bad Points: The downside to this product is that is really delicate. The earphones lasted for about 3 months. Then the volume button broke. Now only a few buttons work. A friend of mine has one, and the same thing happened to the volume button. I expected to be a little more durable since it is a Sport model.

General comments: I think you could get a bit more for your money from older company models.

For a piece of equipment with no moving parts, the Rio Forge Sport MP3 player did not last long. I've emailed the company twice, and only received a form letter in return... essentially "...there is an out-of-warranty replacement fee of $69..." Well, with my extra US $69, I'd prefer to investigate another company, with a longer warranty period, and more confidence in their product.
