The MS Emilio has nice rooms, good food. Unfortunately a small swimming pool but overall a very good ship!

The meal choices is very excellent. If the item is not on the menu, you can ask the manager to have your choice of food, for example Indian Food etc. You can also celebrate birthdays and anniversaries on the boat.

We were transferred to MS Emilio owing to overbooking (which can happen at high season) and found it to be one of the most enjoyable experiences we have had. We had never been to Egypt before although this was not the first time to an Arabic country - we were very miffed at first at not being on the boat we had booked but the staff especially made us feel very welcome. A good tip here is do not go with the big operators-book independently on-line. We were met at the airport by the agent from GAT ...

The views from the boat are fantastic I never got board watching all the different landscapes especially from the jacuzzi. The sunbeds on the boat are comfortable and there was always enough for everyone.

After a late arrival at 23:00 we were made to feel welcome and a hot meal was provided.
On our cruise the passenger mix was predominantly Italian/British (50/50) with the average age being 35(ish).
We had a suite that was well worth paying for, it being twice the size of a normal cabin. It was generally clean and the towels changed at least twice a day. The cabin steward proved to be friendly and entertaining with his towel sculptures! Note that the boat often moors alongside other boats ...

What a trip on board of the MS Emilio! Early mornings though, but well worth it. Abu Simbel worth the extra and the only regret that I had is that I didn't go on the balloon ride which apparently was fantastic. Libra have got it right with the early starts as you avoid the temperature at midday, when you were always back on board cruising the Nile and resting. Entertainment was very good and the idea of a camera man following you around during your trip taking a video of the whole holiday was gr ...

Allow extra money for tipping, which is unavoidable. Not that you would want to avoid tipping because the service is amazing.
I was unwell during the trip, although the standard of cleanliness was very high, and a doctor came onto the boat within 15 minutes of asking for one. The medical attention was good and not overly expensive. The doctor returned twice more for follow up visits, spoke excellent English and was professional and kind, better than in the UK!
Balloon flight excursion had 3 ...

The food on-board the MS Emilio Domina Prestige is excellent, with a variety of dishes every day. Tables are shared with fellow guests, but this proved to be a bonus, with our table mates being excellent company, and they added to our enjoyment. No one was ill at all during our stay. The cabins were cleaned twice a day without fail. The tour guides were excellent, although they seem rushed at first. We found the amount of time given at each destination was just about right, and the visits to the ...

Excellent value for money. I found it to be very clean, and I can't understand the comments about it being unclean. The drinks were priced the same as in a bar in the UK. What you would expect on a cruise ship. As for the staff, I found them very pleasant, and they always had a laugh and joke with us, and you got free crisps at the bar! The guide was excellent, and he was very knowledgeable, and yes he did always joke about it being a mans country, but seriously that's what Egypt is, and we all ...

I have always wanted to visit Egypt and what better way than a Nile cruise. My husband and myself had a fabulous time, as did our friends who accompanied us. The balance of excursions and relaxation was just right. The early morning starts for some trips was certainly well worth it, in order to avoid other large tourist groups and the rising temperatures. Our guide, Toni, was great. She gave just the right amount of information to keep things interesting and she had a lovely sense of humour ...

This is something I have always wanted to do and Emilio and Libra did not disappoint. My husband and myself thought it was a thoroughly enjoyable cruise with just the right balance of excursions and relaxation. The early morning calls were well worth it for excursions, in order to avoid crowds and the heat of the day! Our guide was fantastic, knowledgeable without being boring and with a nice sense of humour. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise to anybody. Our friends who ...

On arriving at the MS Emilio cruise ship, I was impressed with the size of the bar area and general standard of cleanliness. However, the cabin was not so good. It was quite grubby with dirty walls and stained bedding, and it was also quite dusty. The cabin was not vacuumed the whole time we were there, and I had to ask for the vacuum cleaner myself on about the forth day, as I couldn't stop sneezing. I was not the only one to experience this. There was an overpowering stench of diesel fumes i ...

We upgraded to a suite on the Domina Prestige Nile Cruise, which was well worth it and made a huge difference to our holiday, as there was three of us in the cabin. There wasn't much entertainment, but it suited us because by night time we were all really tired due to early morning starts. The food was repetitive, and we were sick of beef stroganoff. We craved for cereal with COLD milk, but this is impossible to get!!
Overall, this is a fantastic way to see Egypt. Excellent value for money, a ...

I would really recommend the MS Emilio Nile cruise. Wonderful service, weather, and sights. Our only wish was that we had booked Cairo as an add on. Reading up on the sights or watching a DVD before going would add to the experience, as it would give you a better understanding of the sights.

The MS Emilio is a fabulous cruise. Staff efficient and friendly. Tour guides brilliant and knowledgeable, and the boat was spotlessly clean and well maintained.
I thoroughly loved every minute, even the early starts!!! I would do it again without a moments hesitation. I have already recommended it to several people.

Overall, I would thoroughly recommend the Emilio (Domina Prestige) cruise. Just do your homework first with regards to cabins and flights etc. We were a group of six, and we all had a wonderful time. I would certainly give it a 5* rating.

The early starts for the excursions are a bit of a pain, but once you are up, you realise that it is such a good idea, with the heat.
The MS Emilio Nile cruise is one on of the best holidays to date!

As this was our first time on any cruise boat and our first trip to Egypt we did not know what to expect .What we found exceeded our expectations The standard of comfort and cleanliness both in our cabin and on board the MS Emilio generally was first class. The crew were without exception polite, friendly and eager to help in any way they could The whole trip was very well organised from the moment of stepping out of the airport to the moment of stepping back in to leave for home (very sadly i ...
