Good Points: Quick setup Fast connection
Bad Points: Not 24 hour technical support
General comments: I ordered a VPS Windows Premium server last Thursday for around £30 per month with no setup fee. I'm very impressed with the value for money. Ping to my server is aroundn 80ms.
You can hardly tell the server virtual, it downloads files from the Microsoft website at 4.5mb/sec and is very quick at hosting it's content.
It only allows 1 remote desktop connection, so if your connection to remote desktop was disconnected improperly - sometimes you have to wait a while before it allows you to reconnect. (Might be able to get round this by changing the default RDP port)
My server did stop responding completely for a few minutes last night, not sure why, but overall for the money you can't expect any better.

From the moment I ordered a Virtual Server I had nothing but problems; in fact, the service never worked as far as I am aware. Further to this, their support was very unhelpful I found and they made me feel as though they were doing you a favour, when in fact, they did absolutely nothing to resolve the problem within the required SLA.
I do not recommend Easyspace.com.

I would not recommend Easyspace to my worst enemy. They overcharge for a stone-age service. They deny responsibility for their own shortcomings and one has to resort to legal action to make them do the basics. They are STILL (today) mispublishing MX records that were changed when we transferred out three months ago. Despite presenting them with visual evidence of this from their own servers, they continue to deny.

Day 1, Friday: Ordered Virtual Dedicated Server. Server was setup a number of hours later. Latency to virtual server was 5000ms - 6000ms and packet loss was high with intermittent complete loss of connection. Traceroute showed problem was clearly on their network. My 'Platinum Plus' hosting expires on Sep 22nd 2008, but ES have been asking me quite a lot I feel to renew/upgrade. They don't do the Platinum Plus option so I opted for a 'Pick N Mix' option. As soon as I had paid my money online, my website went down and my email stopped working. As the rest of the reviews my experience was bad, I experienced the following problems:
Tickets not been answered or resolved and support in general was unhelpful I felt.
Clients not able to send emails to easyspace registered domains, this was resolved when webspace and email was moved to another provider
Spam emails - Easyspace filtering system is no existent and they ask you pay an extra fee for spam filtering which is completely useless in my experience
Support for CMS systems is poor to ...

There are very little good points about this hosting in my experience. It works some of the time for me. The customer service is unhelpful. The tech support people were just as bad in my opinion. My site was down for several days before it got sorted out and as far as I am aware they have not apologised. They are not easy at all to work with I felt.

I would not recommend for VPS and Dedicated servers. I cannot comment on Shared hosting personally... Support is not a true 24/7 it seems as I personally feel the response can be very delayed in my experience.
Problems with key and certificates for me.
It has taken up to 3 days to setup a VPS. No RDP or it takes over a week to create

I have been with easyspace for 10years... the service has always been poor for me I feel.
I was contacted by Easyspace sales man yesterday at about 4pm.
He said the bandwidth on my website had been reached (hard to believe as it is only the 6th of the month) - he said I needed to upgrade. I paid £190 via CC. He said my website would be moved over to a much faster and more stable server.

1. I can only seem to be able to renew online
2. Personally cannot find out any information except on an 0870 number.
3. When I try to email them to find out which of my domains they are invoicing me I cant seem to get through
4. Cant find the domain name on their invoices.
5. Sent me invoices two months in advance and keep bugging you for payment.. therefore I do not recommend Easy space.com, can someone please recommend another web hosting company.

I am helping a friend administrate his 'Easyspace', I advise him to move as soon as the contract runs out. Everything in my opinion, unhelpful customer services, lack luste as far as I am concerned, I feel I experienced huge waiting times and very unhelpful services.
The worst thing is, when you want to leave they charged me £15.00! They claim that is a cancellation fee. Even if it took one hour to cancel one ISP, that's on average 30 grand a year to cancel 8 accounts each day. Easyspace failed to renew a domain that I had registered for over 4 years. Someone else then registered it, so now I have lost my domain. They have offered no compensation except a refund and another (worthless) domain name. AVOID.

No CPanel - They have there own Control Panel which has no advanced features to control databases as far as I am aware. There own control panel system has very little features in my opinion and the navigation is difficult even though they have updated it recently.Problems with Emails - Charges for additional spam filtering service which is terrible I feel and delays emails and caused many problems. Invoices for services started to go into spam filtering box even though they were from Easyspace!! ...

I have a number of domains with Easyspace. At the moment several of them are not responding and I can get no help whatsoever out of ESpace. They simply as far as I am aware not yet responded to Support tickets. If they occasionally do the advice on settings is useless.
Most of these problems started after BT's so-called "security upgrade" but I sorted that out without help from either ISP!
Now nothing is happening as far as I am aware?

Contact difficulties in my experience. Account management unhelpful as far as I am concerned, to the extant that they listed my domain in somebody else`s account then charged a reconnection fee because I hadn`t paid them on time. It took nearly a week to sort this out and then no apologies and a flat refusal to reinburse the reconnection charge.I do not recommend EasySpace.com.

I am unhappy with their account management. As far as I am concerned they took over Nicnames who had held my account for five years and promptly transfered it without my knowledge to another person. At the subscription renewal date as far as I am aware, they did not contact me for the obvious reasons and cut off my e-mails. Our site has been down many times in the few weeks that we have had it hosted by them. It went down again this morning and as per close of business, 5-30pm, the support staff have gone home and will continue (not) fixing it tomorrow.Well we'll be out of there before they have fixed it... dont recommend www.easyspace.com.
