OK, Valiant is a tough one to review. On the one hand it is nice to see a british film with a great cast, great animation and great promise however Valiant does not do its' expectations justice. While it tries to be funny and inventive it seems to fall back on slapstick humour when it could push the boundaries between child and adult humour (like Shrek). Everyone is expecting a British film with a great range of comedy however the script fails to deliver. On the plus side the animation is flawless and the voice acting is both animated (excuse the pun) and believable.

Cult Fiction's Response to Jamezz's Review

I disagree with the review - sorry. The person that wrote Valiant knew exactly what audience it was intended for. If it had been written on the basis of 'Shrek', then it would simply be another cast off from the many other films that have gone down the same road. The dialogue was perfect - it was British originality at its finest.
