Lovely food, never had any complaints during numerous visits. Thankyou chefs. But what makes Pane vino so memorable is......... Conner the irish waiter. Hes worth his weight in gold.

Italan Pane E Vino is a fabulous Italian! I have been dining at this restaurant for years with family, friends and work colleagues. It is fantastic value for money. A great atmosphere at all times and a good buzz at the weekend. The staff are fantastic, you can be guaranteed a great laugh with your waiter. Superb menu with great choices and meals can be altered to suit your needs. Never, ever had a problem with PaneVino and would recommend to everyone.- Read footloose's review (102 words)

the service at Italian Pane E Vino, Kirkcaldy is not great as many italian restaurant in cities such as Edinburgh and Dundee, the food menu is far away from a good variety of meal, I think Pane e Vino should improve a lot the service- Read Guest's review (52 words)

Visited Italian Pane E Vino last night and on the third time being there and saying we won't be back every time, this time it is certain, we were constantly badgered to order, three different waiters approached two minutes apart to take our order when we insisted we were not ready, i ordered the asparagus with butter and parmesan to start (out of sheer pressure to order) when i got it the dish consisted of 4 pieces of overcooked stringy asparagus swimming in butter with a little parmesan on top, ...- Read Guest's review (197 words)

I have dined at Pane E Vino's many times - for birthdays (they play you a "happy birthday" song when they bring out your cake!, work nights out (they have a bar and there are pubs nearby too), dinner with friends and romantic meals.
The food is delicious, they give you good helpings and the staff are pleasant and helpful. the restaurant itself is well organised and nice and cosy inside. They cater for all ages and have disabled access.
Highly recommended.- Read traceyanne's review (82 words)

At Pane e Vino I made the mistake of having a pizza which was still cold and soggy in the middle. I would recommend the tuna salad as no cooking is involved although the tuna looks to me as though it is out of a can.
However, on a more positive note if you are careful what you order its a fine place to go for a quick and cheap meal.- Read cattyb's review (71 words)

I have been going to pane vino with my husband and kids for years and cannot find any fault. The staff are very friendly and quick to replenish my husband's pint glass which he loves the food is first class and you are always guaranteed a warm welcome. I would recommend penne de la cassa and their steak with pate simply melts in your mouth. All round its our family's favourite place to eat and always our first choice.- Read Guest's review (86 words)

I went to Italian Pane E Vino for the first time recently with my partner and some friends and I can only say that I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an informal evening with good food and great atmosphere. The only fault I could possibly find was the chips that were likened to those you get at McDonalds but heyho it wouldnt be enough to put me off going again. Really good food, excellent service and quite reasonably priced.- Read Vonny1970's review (84 words)

I've been to Pane E Vino's a few times by friends for their birthday dinners, mainly I guess for the reason that they get a tacky birthday song blasted out of the speakers when the cake arrives...this happens at least twice a night, there always seems to be a birthday table there. I think the only people who like the food are those who haven't actually eaten at a good Italian restaurant. Food is very average and the atmosphere is just cheap.- Read otter81's review (88 words)

Pan E Vino was disappointing. One would expect from an italian restaurant authentic italian food. Upon ordering the pizza funghi from the lunchtime menu I was astonished when what I was served looked a bit like frozen pizza with some mushrooms scattered on top. It would have been cheaper to buy a pizza from the supermarket across the road and bake it myself. Some of the staff were impersonal and distant.- Read hellishkipperface's review (71 words)

Pane E Vino sells good quality food at excellent prices. The staff generally are very friendly and helpful. I have been going there for over 10 years on a weekly basis, and I have never had a complaint, and my basis for comparison is of a high standard being well travelled and a regular at the Gleneagles hotel.
I tend to find that the staff in any restaurant will reflect how you treat them, and at the end of the day they are human as well and probably have to deal with a lot of arrogant people ...- Read xxrockandrepublicxx's review (173 words)

Food was awful, we were rushed through our meal from start to finish which lasted all of about 25 minutes, staff were arrogant, the atmosphere was like being in a very large crammed cheap cafe.- Read JackieKDY's review (35 words)

Very rushed - the waiter at Pane E Vino in Kirkaldy brought our main courses when we were half way through the starters.
I told him we were not finished our starters, but he just laid the main courses on the table.
I was more annoyed at myself later as I should have demanded he take them away, but you hear so many awful stories about meals returned to the kitchen.
It's a pity, as the food is always good to excellent, but they must get some customers that will not go back a second time. ...- Read Guest's review (110 words)
