Good Points: Excellent speed and acceleration. Sleak and eyecatching. Super comfortable cockpit. Great stock soundsystem.
Bad Points: Very expensive for any needed services. Super light backend, takes experience to stick off the line with stock backend, rear suspension and regular Z radials. Would Recommend having a 411 and slicks installed for anyone dragging with this car. Unpredictable in the rain or on wet surfaces.
General comments: The Trans-Am WS6 is a great last generation muscle car from Pontiac.
Super fast, especially on straightaways. Steering is ultra sharp as is braking and shifting.
The stereo system is extreme and needed little work. It came with a 500 watt Monsoon CD head-unit and 10 Bose made Delco speakers. All I had to do was pump in another 1000 watts and 2 bazooka 12 inch subwoofers which now eliminate what used to be a small trunk.
The car is beautiful inside and out, the charcoal leather buckets wrap around you to hold you in tight, the dash and controls are simplistic and easy to operate.
My WS6 is running at a clean 365hp with some small changes, it will pull 0-60 in 5 seconds and the Q mile in 13. I haven't found the cars top end yet but when I maxed the speedometer out at 155 the tach. still had a ways to go... the sherrifs deps wouldn't stand a chance.
