Good Points: I am 14, and my parents bought me the Gamo when i was just 11. The good point about the cadet is that it is so much like a top quality adult size air rifle, but scaled down to a junior rifle!
Bad Points: I really can't think of anything wrong with my gun
General comments: The best rifle i have ever used, and if was to make a choice between my Gamo cadet, or my new PCP logun solo, it would be the cadet anyday!
Also, with the Cadet i have taken out some rabbits, and the odd magpie, making it a highly reliable gun for 14 year olds and under

I had my Gamo Cadet 2001 a while ago I found it very fun to use and found that rats could be killed easily with this rifle, and it was very accurate. I had many years of fun with this rifle and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good rifle at a low price, I paid £100 for mine.

The Gamo Cadet 2001 was my very first ever air gun I got it when I was 11 now being 19 I have moved on significantly. the gun served me well over the years and I had a lot of fun with it. I also killed countless rats and a few pigeons as well.
I was able to get a 1:1 inch grouping with it at 30 yards with gamo pellet. these are not made any more but I now use accupell with are just as good.
