Good Points: Location good for getting to Marina. Food good. Waiters very approachable and friendly, unlike management.
Bad Points: Found reception staff unhelpful. No entertainment at night time, with very few organised events during the day.
General comments: I would not recommend Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia to females who are travelling alone. Males in particular can be very pushy and forward, and will always try to get you to buy something. It gets to the point where you end up being rude because of all the hassle.

Perfect break for New Year. The Marhaba Palace hotel put on a gala dinner evening of many courses and entertainment. Hotel good, clean and friendly.
Outside area looked perfect for a summer break - spacious pool area and beach just a short walk through hotel grounds. The local businesses can be quite persistent, they are ok however if you are firm and not rude. If you like coffee & tea take your own. Fresh full fat milk for toddler impossible to get hold of - had to opt for sterilised vers ...

We stayed at Port El Kantaoui, Marhaba Palace for two weeks and it is very relaxing. Not an ideal place for young children. Personally, it is worth paying for a sea view because it's a beautiful view. All in all it is a brilliant place to stay.

Marhaba Palace was clean, food was good, rooms cleaned every day, bed always made in nice designs and sweets left on pillows, nice touch! Also drinks fridge in room was filled by porter in mornings, pay as you go or settle at reception. If you wanted it also room service at any time for food, sandwiches drinks etc. Hotel was in lovely location walking distance to Port El Kantaoui.
