    Good Points: - simplified direct interaction
    - limit complexity of real-time strategy game


    Bad Points: - too many factors to consider


    General comments: Hearts of Iron 2 is the best strategy game I ever play

    Hearts of Iron is excellent. I've learned more from this game than I have in most of my general History classes.

    Hearts of Iron 2: After 2 patches - game killing bugs - have brought promise from Paradox management to provide patch # 3. Game engine does not provide possibility to alter WWII history (whole purpose of a PC GAME is to provide a what-if possibility for the future Rommels-Montgomerys-Pattons. In 1936 campaign-playable game ends after Germany overruns France. Never managed to finish a game as boredom sets in at midpoint.

    Graphics are inferior to earlier effort, HOI-I.
