  Good Points: Accuracy

  Bad Points: Very expensive in South Africa

  General comments: I had my Walther LG300 Dominator now for 2 years . After the mod I had no poi swifts. The speed is very consistent. The top 8 shooters on the national ranking uses this rifle in FT. It's also the current bench rest champ with a new SA record.(5MM GROUPINGS AT 50M 5 SHOT) I will recommend this air rifle to any airgun shooter.

  I bought the Walther LG300 Dominator Field Target Rifle about 3 months ago for FT shooting. At first I believed that this was the best rifle available for FT. After a few FT competitions I realised there was something wrong. I kept on missing 35m+ shots where I was certain it should have been a hit. We are about 10 Dominator shooters in SAFTAA, and we all experienced the same problem. After some tests I came to the conclusion that the Dominator is very sensitive to temperature variations.   I'm a founding member of the Portuguese Field Target Association ( A.P.F.T.) Apft.com.pt and there are now around 5 Walther LG300 Dominators. We all are very pleased with our Dommies as we call them. They are very accurate indeed. Loading is very easy and a very intuitive way to use the safety pin on competitions.
