Good Points: Excellent graphics, vibrant colors! Wonderful musical score and voice talent! Convincing storyline. Great bonus disc, extended storybook and instruction manual.Cool, brushed metal game case. The best online multiplayer gaming yet! Cooperative, two player mode as well!

Bad Points: Many of the Collectors edition games were defective from factory/scratched.
Poorly designed case interior leads to disc damage.

General comments: Well, what shall I say about this game that has yet to be said?
This collectors edition of Halo2 is simply the regular game with another bonus(making of) disc, as well as some extra literature about the Halo universe and its' characters.
The game begins with the trial of the arbiter(the alien charged with stopping the Master Chief).
Simultaneously, the Master Chief is aboard the Cairo, one of Earths many orbital defense platforms, receiving awards and accolades alongside Sgt. Johnson for meritorious and heroic conduct.
Suddenly, cortana sounds the klaxon alaram, warning of the incoming covenant armada.
The player is plunged into immediate gun fights with the alien hordes inside the floating space platform.
The player may choose alien weapons, or human weapons or even a collaboration of the two as Halo 2 shows off its' newest(and best) feature, the ability for the player to dual wield weapons(one in each hand). This feature was not available in the first Halo game.
There are 4 difficulty levels and each one tests the players mettle by making the aliens more resilient, toning down the effect of the players weapons on the enemy and making the enemy strikes more severe than the previous difficulty setting.

It would be advisable to play the original Halo to get a more complete background picture before jumping into this game head on.

If you have your buddies over, they can play too! And not just in multiplayer mode, two players can play in cooperative story mode for a FANTASTIC romp.
Fly alien spacecraft, board a marine tank, or a covenant tank for that matter, sit in an enemy turret("shade") and plasma blast the covenant back to hades.
Drive the "warthog" or grab the 20mm chain gun mounted on the back of the hog and whittle the enemy away to nothing.

Online multiplayer has so many options and permutations, that one can play online for a week and still not explore all of the gameplay options online!

A Modern classic, Halo 2 is the staff of legend and will be entertaining children and grown men for years to come!
