great sound quality for a budget 2.1 speaker system.everyone who hears them says how good they sound.

I bought these to work with a Samsung P2270HD TV/Monitor. These 22inch LCD Monitors have minute speakers and a severe lack of Bass. The Logitech x230 speakers however have excessive Bass response and very poor Treble. Even with the Subwoofer level at minimum the Bass is excessive and the Treble not as good as the Monitor internal speakers. They have no tweeter and appear to be designed for people who measure the quality of sound by the amount of bass.

Many of my friends ask me why do I chose this set instead of some other more popular brand with the similar price range in my country, and some even dis me when I bought it.. but when they listen to it.. most if them stay silent since the sound quality speaks for itself.. anbd me just smile.. this speaker rocks.. it have 'enough' of everything.. will suit to wide range of usage and definitely satisfy you..

Very good value for money. They go quite loud, the bass is good and you cant go wrong for 25 pounds. Highly recommend Logitech X-230 speakers.

Just bought a set of these Logitech X-230 from Comet, at the very good price of £24:99, and am picking them up later today. The main reason I bought them was all the good reviews on here. Hope they sound as good as you say.

At the price the Logitech X-230 speakers are of ourstanding quality. I had driven them from a range of high quality sources as well as from the PC and their performance allows me to hear the difference in source quality. I find the sub-woofer control does not go far enough to reduce the powerful bass performance but I have easily remedied this by rolling-up a flat sponge or sock etc. to block the cabinet port.

I was listening to Bose Subwoofer systems and I thought that was shocking sound quality compared to these Logitech X-230 Computer speakers, these are a lot cheaper and better sound quality for your money. I found the set up to be easy and the bass is wicked

The Logitech X-230 is fantastic, i brought quality rca adaptors that were fully shielded to ensure best audio quality as the logitech rca converter cable was only 150mm long.
plugged into the rc monitor outs on my panasonic plasma i use for xbox 360 DVDs and television. the things are fantastic, didn't want the hassle of 5.1 as the room doesn't suit. theses were perfect and pump compared to the sopeakers on the plasma

Sound quality, size, style, build quality and price.
I was looking for some new 2.1 speakers, and I read many reviews. These kept getting good feedback so i ordered them. I'm really happy with them. I can't see that you could get a better 2.1 system than this.
Well recommend the Logitech X-230 computer speakers.

I bought these speakers on Saturday, and I went through my collection of mp3s literally the entire night, enjoying the superb sound they are pumping out. I paid a mere 60 bucks online with Austin Computers of Joondalup, Western Australia, and I am one very satisfied customer of both Austin and Logitech. As far as I'm concerned, if you spent two hundred dollars on a set of PC speakers, you'd be hard done by to justify the extra $140 in terms of sound quality. I don't have the room for more pieces ...

Good for a small parties, pool parties, your room... see movies.. Highly recommended, I have this ones for more than a 3 yrs, still having the same sound, excellent, I willl never change it for anything else...

Very good nice looking simple loud bass well worth your money speakers, this just proves that no matter how many big firms say 3000 watts is loud its the quality of the sound and they go up really really loud with clear sound! Great buy, logitech all the way!

It has great clean crisp sound. I especially like the way it automatically adjusts to deliver even, distortion free bass. Its also good that its wall mountable. Perhaps not as good looking as some competitors. A great buy, there are few better speakers on the market

Best buy for sure. If you to upgrade your PC to very loud audio spot and you don't have much money this speakers are perfect for you. Listen the adrenaline-pumping sound from the subwoofer and the dual driver satellites. Trust me, I work as a DJ, and I know how the quality speakers sound like. Enjoy the music in the full spectrum, how it's meant to be listened.

The sub woofer is like a Rottweiler on a leash. It'll try to get away from you, but with some training on the EQ settings of your media player, it will walk right by your side!

This product is ideal for any school or university student looking for a superb set of speakers at a really good price. I have no qualms recommending this product. Enjoy!

All in all these speakers are great and I would fully recommend to anyone.

I got mine form amazon.co.uk for 24.99 and free p&p. Well recommend Logitech X-230.

Good quality, excellent sound, neat looking, not much distortion at high volume.Hard to set up with vista for some reason?
All round impressed with these speakers though therefore I recommend Logitech X-230.

Clean, undistorted sound at low - mid vol.
Subwoofer clips when the volume is high - sounds horrible.
Try 'music' by Madonna to see what I mean.
Very good little speakers, add more speakers e.g: creative t10 to get a nice surround sound.
