Clean, undistorted sound at low - mid vol.
Subwoofer clips when the volume is high - sounds horrible.
Try 'music' by Madonna to see what I mean.
Very good little speakers, add more speakers e.g: creative t10 to get a nice surround sound.

Unlike the previous reviews I'd like to say the Logitech X230's are rubbish... but I can't! They really are a good little set of speakers for the money. I wouldn't use them for my primary music listening (I use a 20 year old set of Tannoy Venus Mk II for that) but for general pc listening they are more than competent.

Excellent - I have even powered my turntables through these and they were enough to hold up a house party. amp, bass and mid speakers for like under '£50... just buy them. Don't bother with anything else.

I Would recommend these Logitech X-230 computer speakers to everyone, they are great speakers rather than the rubbish laptops ones. The quality of the sound is really good and well worth the money.

Just fine with 2-channel systems? Not wanting to go 5.1 or just don't have the money yet? Compensate with the Logitech X-230. GREAT sounding speakers at an affordable price and nice, compact, stylish and sleek design. The subwoofer delivers clean, undistorted bass as do the dual-driver satellites, equipped with Logitech's FDD2 technology. These speakers are perfect for the bedroom equipped to the TV to extend your 2 speaker experience (I first used them on my computer along with my Logitech R-20 ...

Overall, these are great speakers for the money - absolutely no doubt about it. Simple as pie to set up and use. As for the speaker units themselves - sub woofer and satellites - they have a quality, well made feel about them that inspires confidence about the product. I have had them for about 18 months and (although I have not used this particular computer set up a lot) I've not had one bit of bother with them.
The sound quality is good - in fact, for the money, really bloody good. They don ...

These speakers are amazing for the money. The sound is great and with any sort of music the sound stays great. Very loud and they don't appear to ever go distorted. The speakers are worth every penny. They are great with films and music and I even had my TV on them. Logitech have done themselves proud with the X-230s.

Great speakers advise anyone who enjoys listening to music to get these. They are great value for money and although small they deliver lots of power and bass. This speaker system works with all music and produces good mid range, high range, and bass. Overall they are pretty outstanding.

When you first set the Logitech X-230 computer speakers up, you wonder what you're going to get. These are not expensive speakers - £26 delivered (Amazon). I wasn't expecting too much. I plugged them in - dead easy. Set them up where I thought would be the best place to get best stereo, satellites either side of monitor, at 3', and sub on shelf above monitor, bang in the middle. Up with the Windows Media Player and double click Guns and Roses Illusions 2. Woooooowwwwwww!! It's been ...

They are amazing for the money! The sound is fantastic for computer speakers and more. I know a few people have mentioned the bass, but once you have got the settings correct with computer (I have a Mac) it's perfect. The set up is really easy, and it took me about 5 minutes.
I can't find any faults with the Logitech X-230 computer speakers. A wonderful product.

These Logitech X-230 speakers have gone back to ebuyer for a refund after 48 hours of listening. I have kept them for this long to compare them to other speaker systems around the house and I have to say I prefer my daughters AIWA 10 year old micro-hifi ! I have high standards in audio and these speakers have really disappointed. So much for the much vaunted 'incredible value'

The Logitech X - 230 have it all, great sound, great looks, and a subwoofer which delivers a high enough level of bass for most gamers (even harcore gamers) and music lovers especially if you consider its small size.

The Logitech X-230 headphone jack on these speakers is nothing more than decoration for all it does, which is nothing. When using headphones for private listening these speakers do not process the audio from the soundcard, nor do they control the volume. The volume for the headphones has to be controlled by the volume control of your OS, as the only sound you get using headphones is what comes from your soundcard. If all your sound card puts out is low volume audio, that is all you will get thro ...
