The O2 X1 is a nice mobile phone. It looks great and it is small.
Sometimes when using the camera it often went funny and could not take pictures. Lots of times it turns itself off whenever it wants to. The phone often froze when it wanted to, which was quite a lot. Rubbish coverage, and it wasn't the network, as I got it unlocked and used Meteor and Vodafone, and it still had bad coverage.

When I first got the O2 X1 mobile phone it looked nice and the display was bright. A few weeks later the games stopped working, it would crash, the ringtones started to stop working, and you can't get the photos off of the phone. It was a complete waste of money. Seriously, don't ever buy this phone unless you're getting it as a joke. (read more)

Please don't buy this phone, the O2 X1 is the biggest waste of money ever! I bought it last Jan and it was fine for 1 month then little faults appeared but I couldn't be bothered to take it to the shop so I put up with it. I took it to the shop and they sent it away for repairs as they said it was a common fault and they could not mend it so they replaced it with the promise that it would not happen again. There is no way to send videos so why include the feature.
I thought a data cable might be the answer to extracting pictures and videos but, like a previous reviewer, got only a runaround from O2.
The shop reocmmended I try the O2 website.
No joy. An e-mail to their help desk recommended I go to their telephone shop. They recommended I go to a real shop.

This O2 X1 is the first mobile phone I've owned in years - I bought it as it was the most expensive in the store, so I thought it would be "future proof" with all of the latest options.
None of these options work.
All I've managed to do in two weeks is make a few calls and sms messages. WAP, wallpapers, ringtones, media messaging etc., all utterly unstable - and frequently cause the phone to hang (needing battery removal) or turn itself off.

From what I've read on the reviews for the o2x1i, the only good things about are it is its looks and screen quality. I have had my phone for 2 weeks and already it switches itself off. this seems to happen when it has three out of four battery bars. I am not sure whether this is due to irregular charging or if it is a fault, but reading other reviews I think it must be a fault of the phone as others have had probs with this too.

I agree! I've had it for a year, and have had few problems. The first one I got screwed up after I tried downloading some games but that was from the faulty batch and it was replaced. Texting is fine, the non-predictive, some people are just no clever enough to get the most out of their phones I think! My sister has the new Motorola V525, and although my phone's a year older, the pictures on the moto are more pixilated!
