Loved this kettle! Light, easy to use, stylish and efficient. Bought one for my dad who has arthritis in both wrists and is able to use it with little difficulty. Boils just one cup if you want to. Only got rid of it eventually when the white around the spout started to discolour and deteriorate and look really grotty. Sad to let it go and very disappointed that I couldn't get the same model to replace it.
Bought the stainless steel version. Don't bother unless you don't mind something...

Have now had my Vitesse Gold for 11 years! It has survived 2 babies (lots of boils for baby bottles) and is still going strong. Only problem now is the filter has disintegrated but it's such a good kettle that I can't get rid of it because of that. Still boils extremely quickly and still looks as good as new. Would definitely recommend. (read more)

This Tefal Vitesse Gold Hi-speed Kettle is probably the best kettle ever to be made it is
fast and very durable and I cannot understand why Tefal
have'nt got it on there website. ( simply the BEST)

The Tefal Vitesse Gold Hi-speed Kettle is nice in the hand with a rubberised & sturdy handle. The lid hinge needs treating with major respect: The slightest sheer force on it will cause it to ping-off & bingo ...its sprung loaded pop-up functionality is shot to pieces. I suppose it'd be OK if you are dainty with it... (read more)

A proficient kitchen essential. I'd give my Tefal Vitesse Gold Hi-speed Kettle a ten if it had an imperial measuring window to complement the metric nonsense. Good thing is that it feels well weighted and substantial in the hand without being industrial.
(Too new for me to be objective, re support and durability)

A fantastic kettle and I cannot understand why mine is proving so difficult replace - not that I need to yet but I've been searching because absolutely no other kettle than the Tefal Vitesse Gold has come near to being so perfect. (read more)

I'm on my second Tefal Vitesse Gold, the first one was dropped! This is the only kettle I would ever consider buying, it's so fast and the re-boil is very quick also, easy to re-fill by the lid or spout, sight windows on both sides ideal for left handers!
Reasonably priced, don't buy anything else.
