Good Points: Seemed like very good value when, in October 2004 I signed up and paid for a 2 year service which I later extended by 6 months at a "special offer" price.

Bad Points: Frequent outages, always attributed to other organisations (usually BT). The broadband service finally collapsed for good on 30th June 2006. I applied for a refund of the remainder of my subscription on the dedicated website www.dslrefundrequest.com, but no refund has been received to date (08.11.2006).

General comments: Do they still exist as a company? Has anyone received a refund? It was/is linked to the telecoms company Touch Telecom. Is Touch Telecom liable for refund claims?
Ofcom are aware of the situation, but they cannot pursue individual claims.
E7even was a member of Otelo until about April 2006. If I had known all this earlier I would have switched ISP earlier, though there was no guarantee of a refund even before the company collapsed.

E7even.com has choppy service and a complete failure to provide help in my opinion, I found helpful forums that kept me up to date here. Was really helpful, I hope somebody sues them, I had no connection available for days and couldn't get my line switched over to BT it was ridiculous.

I paid E7even broadband for 24 months up front. It was disconnected, and although I filed for a refund, there is nowhere to trace the refund. Has anyone received a refund from them?

E7even is no more you now have the option of waiting till the 14 July to receive your MAC code from Tiscally or you can sign up to 185K a "new" company that funny enough don't require a MAC code but do require you to pay twice as much as before, sound like a scam to you? However 185k and E7 are not related other than they both rent Tiscally lines so it seems that we all loose and Tiscally wins,

My recomendation = dont sign up to 185K

E7 appear to have finally gone belly up. The message from 186uk (ezeedsl)now on the e7 website is to gather up the casualties. The company are offering various plans which of course have to be paid for. If you don't sign up with them the only alternative is to wait until July 14th when your connection with E7 will officially end and you can choose any provider you wish (fingers crossed though as we all know the horror of announcements relating to E7)
I personally have signed up for one month wi ...

E7even has been either sporadic or non existant since November 2005. The company sent me an e-mail. informing me that my log on details had been changed, after they had already changed changed them on the server. This left me with no servece for some weeks, this was only achieved through contacting e7even usng my works e-mail. The connection is to say the least sporadic. The company offered me some compensation for the inconvenience which I had encountered. This I put towards upgrading to 2 Meg ...

Their website claims no problems (www.e7broadband.com) but my connection has been lost for two days, they have been unreliable throughout the year and now a message from Ezeedsl.co.uk appears asking for more money even though I have paid upfront! How do I get my refund?

But it isn't always working! very unreliable!

When I connect to e7even this morning, I got redirected to a page that says:
"Due to this sudden announcement, your Internet contract has unfortunately been terminated by E7even UK Limited and no further web services are available to you at this time. We, at 186k, have stepped forward in conjunction with our wholesale partner Tiscali (UK) Limited, to offer you a replacement broadband service."

Do you all get the same thing? Or is it just ...

To be fair to e7 they seem to have got it together now I haven't had any problems since the upgrade fiasco. They did give me the option of 2 months extra free of charge for staying with them, so with tongue in cheek I can say I'm fairly happy at the moment

Received no service, faulty ROWTA and customer care non existent. Changed their name to E7 broadband. Calls cost £1 a minute and speaking to anybody takes about half hour or not at all. Left messages- no reply. Or if there was, we were always out. Was given migration code, incorrect 4 times and have been unable to move to another internet service since December 2005. Still ongoing problem. Have not received refund. This has been going on for 7 months. Terrible service. Looks like a scam. C ...

I have been with e7even for approx 3yrs in Nov 05 I paid for an upgade and the problems started I have had no help from Otelo or Ofcom. I cannot get a mac code and iI cannot get a refund it appears that the company are unable to meet contract agreements
What will happen when the time comes for renewal at the moment I have a service but not the one I paid for, but for how long. You would have thought that Ofcom could step in and sort this!

It's taken me since Jan 17 to get my money back and that came from my creditcard. If you paid e7even.com via c/card ask them to do a charge back ,you will get it back but will take time ..good luck ......DO NOT TRUST E7 BROADBAND

E7even.com have taken nearly £300 from me and never provided me with a reliable service. For the last 3 weeks I've been on dial-up and have received no answers to my complaints and can only assume they are interested in my money but not providing me with what I've paid for. There needs to be an investigation in to this company to see if any laws are being broken as they are continuing to sell a product which they cannot provide.

I have moved house but I am unable to get a final bill out of BT as E7even will not release the line...laughable! Can't wait for the new owners to try and connect the house line.

    Avoid like the plague

The main problem started when they did their so-called upgrade, I was cut off just after Christmas never to see broadband again. There alternative was a 56K line which I found totally unacceptable. I tried to contact them by every possible method going but no replies. I took their migration offer on the 13/01/06 and left E7even. I made hundreds of calls but the lines were engaged, left messages and emailed with no replies. At this present time I see no way to get my money back, but there is l ...

Do not subscribe to E7even.com if you want a reliable service.
customer service is non existent (a phone answering system of prerecorded messages that costs you dearly as you pay a premium rate and still do not get issues resolved)
This provider is dreadful - you have been warned!!

Since Jan 2006 E7even.com broadband service has been at dial-up speeds a lot of the time. Plenty of emails and phone calls which ask you not to repeat messages and faults, but if they responded within 24hrs there wouldn't be repeat calls etc.
Anyway finally got a MAC code and have been transferred to Tiscali within 7 days and have finally after months of poor service I am getting the speeds promised.
Some people I know have been without broadband for months and are considering changing their ...

I have the same expericense, no service, no reply, no money back.
Try this number 0870 224 5126 to hold the support. I got this number from a free unofficial E7even customers' discussion group at
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/E7evenusers/

I managed to talk with them after I waitd 40 mins.

    Good luck!

I have had nothing but trouble with e7even.com since November 2005, requested my mac codes and it was not until OFCOM intervened that I got them.
I have made 18 phone calls 11 e-mails and wrote a letter to the M/D and had no response from them at all. It is impossible to get through to them at all. Beware trojans offering cheap services.

I paid e7even.com £240 up front for 2 years broadband, service disappeared 8 Jan 2006, they ignored all messages by phone, & email. I eventually got my mac code 10 Feb after sending recorded delivery letter to the M.D. Am still chasing my promised refund, they're ignoring me at present, but I intend to seek help from the media soon. USE THIS OUTFIT AT YOUR PERIL.
