Good Points: Affordable, accurate, good penetration with little deformation on game birds. A good pellet for use up to and including the larger dove varieties (Streptopelia Capicola and Semitorquata - Turtle doves) with airguns between 500fps to 700fps muzzle velocity. Very few deformed pellets are found when compared to other brands. (Less than 0.1%) Mass difference out of 30 (3 different tins, different batches, 10 per tin randomly chosen) negligible.
Bad Points: Overpenetrates on the smaller birds. (Is that bad?) Finish on batches not always consistent, however, it does not affect accuracy over 20 paces so it is merely easthetical.
General comments: I am also using my air rifle (a Diana mod. 24) to teach the rudiments of holding, aiming, trigger squeeze etc. to Security Officers (first time users), and have compared this pellet in the field and on the range with several others. It compares favourably with everything else in its price range!
I have recently acquired a GAMO CFX fixed barrel air rifle which is being refurbished at present and am looking forward to testing this pellet with it.
Keep up the good work Gamo!

Like most Gamo pellets, some batches have an odd finish, some are better.
Usually some fit loose, other tight. They have a good weight for general purpose (hunting at medium-long distance) but you must have good accuracy and some luck, because of the odd finish it's difficult to get good groups.

I use these little devils in my Gamo Shadow 1000 and i can get one shot holes at 15 meters away with my BSA 2-7x32 scope fitted.
Varmint have no chance with this gun, Scope and these pellets, Example, I went for a squirrel hunt with my friend and took a shot from 75 meters and got a head shot and the squirrrel fell dead.
All-in-all very nice all round pellets
Highly recommended

The Gamo Pro Magnum pellets are only good for general plinking. Out here we shoot tough critters like Prairie Dogs and Marmots. Gamo pros lack the punch to do the job cleanly.

Better to use a good pellet, especially when you own a spring gun, do not save money on cheap pellets.
Some of these pellets' fitting is too loose !! Firing these pellets is akin to dry firing

I was wondering the range of this Gamo Pro Magnum pellet so while at my friends farm I took aim at a sparrow some 50m away, resting on a powerline and the bird fell dead opps!
Good pellet

Tested dif. Gamo pellets at 20 meters and none of them were close to the accuracy of the Pro Magnums. My Gamo Shadow even felt diferent when I shot my gun and sounded diferent. Smooth fit, no loud bang and reduced recoil. Shot a group just above my 8.4 gr. exacts. My 3 shot group with the Pro Magnums at 20m could be covered by the tip of my pinky. From what I can tell at this point is that it is just as good as a JSB exact if not better. I'm glad that I bought a pack of these pellets with the po ...

The Gamo Pro Magnum are great pellets, especially for a Winchester 1000x air rifle. So if anyone is looking for the right pellet for that gun, that would be one of your first choices. Cheap too and of good quality.

I bought 4 tins of Gamo Pro Magnum ( 500 ct) for the price of 3 on Pyramid Air.
I must say that these are the best pellets you could use for hunting. Be sure that your about 40 yrds away from your target because these pellets will over penetrate small game.
I just can't believe at how accurate these babys are in my Shadow Gamo 1000. I recommend these to ANYONE with a powerful gun.

I like gamo Pro magnum pellets because they are good quality and the accuracy is very good. Hard hitting pellets even when long range is needed. The best pellets for pest control I have used. Excellent in guns with high velocity. Penetrates deep in wood without flatting or loosing much of its shape.
