I am a fairly accurate shot I find that with the magnums in my Gamo Whisper they tend to wonder at 25 yds 3=4 Inches to the right in a tight group but cannnot seem to adjust the scope for those to get on target then I put in the Gamo hunter pellet and "bullseye" evey shot Plenty of impact and I like the weight but only works on really close shots In future if I shoot them I will have to adjust the gun for those only and then reset/caibrate for any other pellet… Read Full Review

I bought a tin of this pellet and have used some in my CFX and found that my gun doesnt like them.
Over 40 yards they tend to fly all over, at 15 to 20 yards they give reasonable accuracy. I prefer to hunt using RWS Superpoints as they are more predictable in shot placement than the gamo Pro Magnum.
There are better pellets out there for the same price.
Good points : they hit hard and will take down rabbit size critters to 30 - 40 yards
Bad points : Accuracy, also some pellet were slightly… Read Full Review

I have used Gamo pro-magnum pellets for the last 7 years for varmint shooting. They were exellent. The last tin however was vey bad. It is a batch in the new coloured tin from Spain. The pellets shoot all over the target. On inspection I saw that most of the pellets had burrs on from the casting. This causes the pellets to fly in all directions. I hope this is not the quality of the new batches… Read Full Review

I think these Gamo Pro Magnum pellets are some of the best pellets from gamo because of there consistency and pretty good accuracy on the field with its aerodynamic design, comes in a convenient metal screw tin.some of the pellets are dis- formed and i don't like the new tins that have a sticker on the front lid.
overall good overall pellets with a overall purpose for most types of shooting enjoyment… Read Full Review

I am used to JSB exacts,RWS math pellets and recently I bought one box GAMO PRO MAGNUM's for some tests,
I tested the PRO MAGNUM pellets at a distance of only 10m.
I tried them with my old DIANA mod 25 (35 years old) and my
While I am getting a nearly one hole result with the HW97K and with the DIANA mod 25 impacts in a range of 1/2 inch using RWS and JSB pellets, with the PRO MAGNUMS it's a real disaster a lot of flyers and a spread of 4 inches.

I just recently found out that the gamo pro magnum pellets were actually designed for rabbit shooting . I own a gamo 'shadow 1000' and I have taken out my first rabbit with these little thumpers. If you ever shoot a rabbit with one, check closely when gutting it and you will notice that the pellet has penetrated awfully deeply. A bit loose in the barrel though… Read Full Review

I am also using my air rifle (a Diana mod. 24) to teach the rudiments of holding, aiming, trigger squeeze etc. to Security Officers (first time users), and have compared this pellet in the field and on the range with several others. It compares favourably with everything else in its price range!
I have recently acquired a GAMO CFX fixed barrel air rifle which is being refurbished at present and am looking forward to testing this pellet with it.
Keep up the good work Gamo!… Read Full Review

Like most Gamo pellets, some batches have an odd finish, some are better.
Usually some fit loose, other tight. They have a good weight for general purpose (hunting at medium-long distance) but you must have good accuracy and some luck, because of the odd finish it's difficult to get good groups… Read Full Review

I use these little devils in my Gamo Shadow 1000 and i can get one shot holes at 15 meters away with my BSA 2-7x32 scope fitted.
Varmint have no chance with this gun, Scope and these pellets, Example, I went for a squirrel hunt with my friend and took a shot from 75 meters and got a head shot and the squirrrel fell dead.
All-in-all very nice all round pellets
Highly recommended… Read Full Review

The Gamo Pro Magnum pellets are only good for general plinking. Out here we shoot tough critters like Prairie Dogs and Marmots. Gamo pros lack the punch to do the job cleanly… Read Full Review

Better to use a good pellet, especially when you own a spring gun, do not save money on cheap pellets.

Tested dif. Gamo pellets at 20 meters and none of them were close to the accuracy of the Pro Magnums. My Gamo Shadow even felt diferent when I shot my gun and sounded diferent. Smooth fit, no loud bang and reduced recoil. Shot a group just above my 8.4 gr. exacts. My 3 shot group with the Pro Magnums at 20m could be covered by the tip of my pinky. From what I can tell at this point is that it is just as good as a JSB exact if not better. I'm glad that I bought a pack of these pellets with the… Read Full Review

I bought 4 tins of Gamo Pro Magnum ( 500 ct) for the price of 3 on Pyramid Air.
I must say that these are the best pellets you could use for hunting. Be sure that your about 40 yrds away from your target because these pellets will over penetrate small game.
I just can't believe at how accurate these babys are in my Shadow Gamo 1000. I recommend these to ANYONE with a powerful gun… Read Full Review
