Good Points: showerproof -slim -pocket size viewfinder essential in strong sunshine
General comments: My camera was stolen and would like to find a replacement.
When travelling in England, very useful in the rain, when in southern Europe viewfinder essential.

Quality of photos is excellent, although my Pentax Optio is the 4 megapixel version. In addition, it has a great movie facility with excellent sound recording abilities. You can also add sound bites to photos. The camera has a vast range of different coloured filters you can apply after you have taken a shot, as well as a panaroma facility. There are not many camera's in this category - Water resistant. For what it is - small, light, easy to use, it has lots of options. The Pentax Optio 33WR Digital Camera comes with cables that allow playback on most T.V.'s....BONUS!! The Alkaline Batts supplied SUCK!!! Once I purchased NiM batts. I was very happy with the unit as a whole. Without the new batts, the camera's life was very disappointing!!!

The Pentax Optio 33WR is a very robust camera, i find it vey useful when im out and about as i dont have to worry about keeping it dry. The picture quality you get from this camera is not amazing but you can live with it. It isnt massively expensive at about £250 so you can forgive any short comings it may have. Overall i would recomend this digital camera.
