“Horrible coverage”

Dealer only offered this insurance. It was a terrible experience. Thought we were covered for all oil leaks, transmission and engine. Had our jeeps oil changed and full inspection the night before and the next day some metal lines failed and ruined the transmission.....you guessed it...only internal problems are dealt with. NOT COVERED and towing is only 100$ covered. We paid $170 of the bill and only went 35 miles. Tow truck was only 10 miles further to come. No wonder their financials are so… Read Full Review

Just changed my car halfway through a policy. Expected to pay a bit more each month. They have doubled my premium. A woman parked so close to me in a supermarket car park that I caught her door getting in my car. She came out screaming so I informed Zurich what happened and even though the woman never claimed as there was no damage to either car they say there is an outstanding claim. “My car doesn't exist on zurich computer ”

Had the misfortune of getting a quote off zurich car insurance. After giving the reg number and running through all thee other details I was told that my car of 15 years didn't exist. I was told it was a problem with there computer and they would get back to me the next day. The next day I had a missed call from Zurich but a message saying it was sorted and can give me a quote now. I think I would sooner sell my cars and walk rather than insure with Zurich again. After filling in their application form with my details I received a letter from them stating that I was involved in a no claim accident whilst insured with Aviva and that they would be cancelling my insurance if I did not supply further details. I was a third party in an accident. Getting my claim authorized is so difficult. It's been 60 days since their customer went into my parked car. They always say they will call me back but never have. They are lazy, have no idea what's going on and have upset me no end. Even the manager of the Melbourne claims centre couldn't help me. Cheap insurance quote, big company so I thought Id be safe choosing them to cover my car.. How wrong I was! I'm held at fault even though my car was stationary!!! I've just rang the ombudsmen about this & they're now taking it forward against Zurich. “My biggest mistake”

After over 30 years of driving without making a claim I made the mistake of changing my insurance because of a very competitive price. Because of a mistake on the declaration, which was my error, I was asked to provide several additional documents which I scanned and sent by email the same day, but despite numerous phone calls 5 weeks later the policy is still with the underwriters. Tried to renew car insurance with Zurich. They are useless. I was told they had to create new quote which didn't qualify because of the location, address , area etc. However, the renewal quote did qualify. There reasons was because of a system capability issue. Absolutely pathetic!

I went to Zurich with my car insurance from NFU Mutual ( excellent but expensive). I took 40 years no claims bonus with me and after a year with Zurich and no claims and having paid extra for no claims protection I find that has been reduced to 6 years with no explanation. The call centre staff and customer service staff have been polite and helpful but seem unable to help. “Insurance Claim”

The most TERRIBLE insurance company I've ever heard and dealt with. I had car accident not by my fault in August 2013 now its January and still dealing with them. At first asked for all the relevant paperwork regarding the accident to be sent to them, just to have them few weeks later asking for the same as they missed handled and lost all the information's. I got the policy in september 2013. On 20/11/13 i received a letter dated 16/11/13 asking me to provide copies of DL, V5, etc. within 7 days. The same day i sent the copies to them through there freepost service address. I got an email stating that your policy is cancelled with effect fro 22/11/13 @ 00:00. I was shocked. Demanded I send every single piece of documentation regarding the car insurance to them within 14 days, including my parents driving licenses, when I attempted to remove my parents they tried to charge me and extra £100! “No Communication and Harsh Debt collection.”

I took out insurance with this outfit on one occasion and I will never do so ever again. My direct debit got cancelled due to no fault of my own and they then took it upon themselves to cancel my insurance at the same time. I was more than willing to pay what was due but they instead passed this on to a nasty filthy debt collector. Changed my car and was charged over £ 138 which I though was expensive then luckily I looked at my statement and saw they had charged me twice. “Unreasonable information demand after 14 day cool off...”

Zurich waited until 19 minutes after the 14 day cooling off period ended and sent an unreasonable email requesting all 3 drivers license copies, vehicle V5 copy and NCD proof despite previously stating it was not necessary. It transpires that Zurich staff had been unable to locate us on the voters roll and as such declared that we were 'untruthful' when applying for the quote. “One Word - Terrible”

My wife was hit while sitting at a red light by the car taking a left turn in the lane next to her. His mirror hit and broke my wife's mirror. It's only $250 worth of damage, but filing a claim with this sorry excuse for a company is like going into a black hole. Most insurance companies will respond fairly quickly with their assessors, but these people don't return phone calls or respond to emails.
