We returned to find our car with all four windows open! A few miles along once it had warmed up there was the very distinct smell of cigarette smoke! After a 19 hour delay we really could not be bothered to drive back but they have so far not even had the courtesy to reply to my complaint email. Apart from location, there is nothing else to praise. It is not a real value for money as you can get same price or cheaper if you book early at the BHX long stay. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced and staff are not interested to greet, smile or help you with a basic query. When we returned home after our holiday, got in the car the emergency brake was jammed straight up. When we got it off it was clear that it was broken. Driving home we noted significantly less fuel in it than we'd left it with. There was no mistake on our part. Will NEVER use them again and I highly advise against it. If you pay cheap you get the worst, and this is the worst. I will always pay extra to use Birmingham Airport Long Haul carparks from now on as I've always had good experiences... (read more)

Shocking! After a long flight and standing at a bus stop in the rain for half am hour at 6am, I was truly annoyed that the bus was unable to fit everyone on, leaving 100 of us waiting for the next bus. They know how many people to expect, so why send one bus with 27 seats?!?! Plus, my car was full of mud inside, even tho when I left it it was immaculate. Do not use airparks!!!!!! (read more)

Parked here and paid extra for the driver scheme to be picked up at the airport. All seemed fine until i got home and discovered that they had wrecked my key fob so that i cannot unlock the doors without using the manual key which sets the alarms off. Also damaged my coin tray and found the ashtray on the floor. The driver was obviously fiddling with things when he was waiting at the airport. BE WARNED !!!! On collecting my van I was informed that my van had been damaged by Airparks staff, my van having been hit by another vehicle driven by Airparks staff. I was handed letter instucting me to contact cutomer services on number provided. Letter also infomed me that they did not deal with accident management companies, which is how I would have proceeded as mine is a company van. First the good points - it's quite cheap and did not take long to process at check-in. The not so good- After returning from a week's holiday (Birmingham Airport parking) they said I was late. Apparently I had booked in for 1 day. They refused to believe me without my original booking. The reception staff were clearly not interested in their job, a miserable lot. 30 minute interval between buses is very long, surely 15 to 20 minutes is appropriate. Dont book with these people, we were kept waiting for half an hour to get a bus from the car park to the airport and 45 minutes the other way. They do not run often enough dont believe the evry 15 minutes line - its not true (read more)

We don't trust this place and would never use again as we reset our mileage when we left it and when we picked it up the car had travelled 25 miles and for 49 minutes. We made a complaint as we know they have to re-shuffle cars - but 25 miles does not explain this? We imagine all sorts of things our car could have done whilst in their care? Airparks damaged my vehicle whilst in their care. Their book in process confirmed that there was no damage to the vehicle on arrival, and they have still not accepted liability. Damage was notified to them before I left the car park. (read more)

We returned from our holiday on the 11th March 2012 and collected our car at approx 10.30pm from a very dimly lit car parking space and like most customers drove home with out any accidents. I arranged for the park and ride parking of my car via my bank. When I spoke to the customer services representative I asked specifically if Airparks have a good reputation and confirmed my car would be kept in the secure parking area. When my car was collected by the driver on my arrival at Gatwick, I pointed out the 2 damaged areas on my car - a stone chip on the front lip of the bonnet and a scrape on the rear left wheel arch. I returned from holiday to find the front suspension spring broken, the wheel damaged and the underside of the sill and wheel arch damaged. I spent 3 hrs with the AA fixing the car so i could get home. The airparks customerservices team have just written to me telling me I did the damage myself. They accept no responsibility at all, they quote their T&C's and effectively do not accept they damaged the car in any way. LANDED at Bham Airport at mid-night. Waited 30 mins for a bus. The bus then waited another 7 mins to pick up courtesy drivers.
At the office they said that the computer said I was 6 days late (I had been on a weeks holiday to Tenerife).Despite my computer printout showing that I had arrived back on the correct day I had to wait until they sorted everyone else out and then wait to see the supervisor! When I suggested to the supervisor that I was unlikely to go for a days holiday in Tenerife...

I booked my car with Airparks Birmingham for 2 weeks in October. When I collected the car on 16th October I found my Sat Nav holder was missing from the glove box. The inside of the car just was not the way I left it, things were scattered everywhere.
Not only was my Sav Nav holder missing, both nearside tyres were deflated. The staff were very helpful and brough a portable tyre inflator, and were quick to complete a complaints form which they told me was faxed to the "Customer Service...

The buses are now running every 25 Mins, so you can have a long wait if you just missed one (it used to be 15 mins in the past). We waited nearly 25 mins at the airport in the early hours (freezing conditions). Although one of the cheapest,its quite away from the airport.
Might consider parking on the Long Stay carpark just up the road next time.

Warning! People with sports cars with smaller than usual ground clearance need to take extra care when entering the car park. There is a stinger just behind the up/down barrier. I slowly went over this and it caught my exhaust system pushing the whole thing rearward and through the rear bumper.
The manager was insistent that I had no claim on them for the damage. I will probably be going through the small claims route on this one. Time will tell. Wish me luck and be careful.

Like other posters my car was damaged at this site. Photo's taken before booking and when damage was reported. Since then (four weeks) nothing at all. These people just want your money. We have used APH in the past and will do so again even though they are further away. (read more)

We booked Airparks at 100 mackadown Lane. When we got there we decided to pay the extra £20 for the meet and greet on our return. We parked our car by the reception and we noticed when we got on the bus that they checked all the cars before moving them to where they parked them. Birmingham AirParks is by far the worst offsite airport car park I have ever experienced. This outfit or jokers should not be in operation and should have license revoked. They try and upsell you valet services because the area they are based is in the middle of an industrial estate next to car dealers. There is only one bus operating to and from the car park and if you land at Birmingham airport at a busy period you can wait upto 1 hour as we did in the freezing cold with kids!

The location of the carpark is nowhere convenient, in fact it's in an industrial estate far from any main roads and can easily add 30 minutes to your journey just trying to get to it, assuming you can find it. I was unpleased with service as site manager had not responded to our complains very well. We have got lot of troubles while finding the perfect place as sign boards are not in position to tell us where to go. It was one of the worst experience I had with this service. This experience has turned me to find perfect places for car parking. The car park is very hard to find and the directions and signage were inadequate, the roads to and from the car park are very congested.
The staff were very unhelpful at check-in then we waited over 30 minutes for the bus to take us to the airport (description says every 20 minutes). On the confirmation the postcode was wrong so we ended up in the wrong place, when we called the only number they let you have (an 0870 call centre) and waited ten minutes for them to answer a call that the recorded voice said we aim to answer your call within 30 seconds!! We parked at Birmingham Airparks before a 2 week holiday. When we returned to collect the car it had 2 areas of bodywork damage not present before handing the car over to them.
Reported to site manager who took photos and gave a claim form.

I recently responded to an unsolicited offer by email from Purple Parking and booked my car into their Airparks site at East Midlands Airport for a period of 8 days. When I returned to collect the vehicle I discovered that the nearside wing mirror was broken. I am convinced that it had been undamaged when I arrived on the site. When I brought this to the attention of staff I was immediately shown a digital image which it was claimed had been taken minutes after my arrival at the start of the 8-day period and therefore proved that the damage had been pre-existing. The photograph in question had no recorded data showing the time or date when it was taken. The reason given was simply that the camera had not been set up to record such data. Even had it been, such evidence would have been inconclusive, as it is a simple matter to reset the time and date on any digital camera. I was extremely annoyed at the treatment I received from on-site staff who referred to it as a "joke" that I should have the temerity to call into question the authenticity of their evidence. My advice to anyone who might be tempted to risk using this organisation would be to take their own photographs prior to leaving their vehicles, and to register the fact with reception staff.

Totally agree with this comment, the Airparks customer service is non-existent and their skills if you do get someone is a couldnt care less attitude, steer well clear of these cowboys or you may end up regreting it like I am.
