    Good Points: One of the amazing places I have ever stayed. Shangri-La was the first place I stayed on my first visit to Thailand and my love to Asia has started through Shangri-La, with its fantastic and friendly staff working for this place, national traditions, food to die for in Salathip and Next24 restaurants, GYM and location. Shangri-la was really heavenly experience for me and my partner.One of the good points is location, if I am not mistaken it is the only hotel that is located on main Sky train route. You can have an access to it through west wing (posh one) or Krungtep Wing. And trains will take you to city center in air conditioned carriages. Absolutely loved it, easy to use and so so convenient.Another good point room we stayed in, kept in immaculate condition. Every day we would have a bowl of fresh fruits and complimentary drinks.Fantastic breakfasts, better than in Ritz London, absolutely to die for and dinner in Next 24 and Slathip Thai restaurants are truly amazing experience, siting on a terrace with fabulous river view with sunset, very romantic and just lovely.I should also mention to have drinks and afternoon tea in main lounge, really miss it now.


    Bad Points: Expensive business center, although lovely staff. Use Internet cafe outside of hotel and literally opposite to its main entrance (Shangri-La wing)


    General comments: Really nice hotel, I would heartily recommend this place.

    I stopped at Hotel Shangri-La in February 2004, it is the best hotel I've been in, very clean and food out of this world. The rooms were large and very tastefully furnished, good spot to be in. I would stop there again.
