ive got a 2003 nrg mc3 ac its fast and a good bike. Alot of my friends have nrgs and all of theirs have needed new crank bearings. This is a constant problem so be aware. Also if you are getting an nrg get a liquid cooled one they are 9bhp compared to the 6bhp ac version. Got a gianelli exhaust one mine and it goes about 60 on a straight but as everyone knows the clocks on nrg's are always wrong so i could only be going 50-55. Also the liquid cooled version has a back disc brake which makes it ...

Had my Piaggio NRG Power 50 on an 04 plate just 4 days now... bloke who had it before me spent over 240 on the performance ( not sure what he had done ) but it flew at 65 - 70mph (recorded on a car speedo), but now the bike doesnt run properly cutting out all the time and only hitting 30mph when it wants to actually start and move. not sure what the problem is, (engines fine) suppose it was a good bike while it lasted.

piaggio nrg dd 07. Drinks alot of petrol. Easily broken into you can take the key out slowly and it still runs. Good boot size fits speekers into and easy accses to battery. like the ride comfert and the digital gage looks nice too. But hard to find preformence parts cheap. friends bikes are 60+ leaves my bike on its own. recermend speed fighters and airoxs.

i like the Piaggio NRG Power 50 but the top speed is shoking compaired to other bikes around the same price range. the bike looks grate and has a good boot space fits by 8 inch speekers and cd player in perfict. the bike is derstricted but goes 54 down hill with wind behind me. Takes the bike a while to want to go anywere when you first start it up. Drink petrol like anything have to fill it up everyday. I would recemend buying one to be honest best bike 09 rossi and the speed fighters for top e ...

The ped is lovely. I have a Piaggio NRG55 plate and it flies, my ped does about 48 on a straight and 54 down hill this bike has had a teqnigas pipe on it and has been deresticted i think i am gonna get some lighter rollers on it tho and a 70cc big bore kit which will cost me around £140.00 and increase the speed to about 75-80 mph but the nrg is a sweat ped and 1 of the fastest peds around.

I got my Piaggio NRG DT power liquid cooled scooter for christmas 2008. i instantly fell in love with the bike.
i ride 12 miles to my school so i wanted some independance also it is a brillaint ride around my local town.

the bike was restricted as it came. and it was awful you dont have the power you need especially up hills. the first time i tried it to bakewell a local time. 12 miles away it took 1 hour which was laughable

i got the moped derestricted and on my way back down the dual carria ...

I have a 55 plate Piaggio NRG air cooled, it has a leo vince tt exhaust, 70 jet, 4.5 gram rollers and mallossi clutch springs, its goes well and you will beat your mates on corners if there bikes are faster on strights.

I've done just less than 2000 miles and only had a few problems with it. For some reason my brake pads wore out very quickly when I first got it but I got them replaced at 600 miles and now it's fine. Also I had trouble with it not pulling away from stand still once it had warmed up, but that's also been fixed now, I had the carb and fuel jet replaced and now it is easily the fastest ped where I live. I got about 55 - 60 mph on the flat, about 45 mph uphill and I haven ' t yet tried it out downh ...

Excellent bike, had mine for 6 months and mine does 45 on flat, 55mph downhill and about 35 - 40mph uphill. Have had one problem with it though, after it warms up it has trouble pulling away from stand still. Still trying to find the cause but if any ideas please add a comment. But otherwise great bike and would recommend to anyone.

Before I got my NRG power DT I was looking everywhere to find a good review to see if it was fast. Nearly every review was saying it was really fast and a great bike. After buying mine brand new I found out that it wasn ' t as fast as everyone thought even after the derestriction. People were saying it would go 55mph but I was lucky to get 45mph and was not nearly as fast as my mate on his Jog RR (which is rapid).
Just Add a ZX Leo Vince exhaust, the rollers and springs that come with it, new je ...

I have had this bike for over a yr now and have changed parts such as the cranks and the pipe and variator.
I get 70 out of the straights and it flies along.
The handling is one of the best out there and it looks great.
Just wish there was more to buy style wise for it like the evo body kit for the aerox.
Don ' t get me wrong this is a fast bike once derestricted and with a pipe.

I've had my Piaggio NRG Power since february and I've had a few problems with it. The only major one was the generator bust and cost loads to repair. On top of that it seems to have the problem of flooding itself occasionally. but that can be easily resolved just by getting the technique of starting it.
There has been some good points to this bike as well though. it sems to be able to lean at impossible angles and gives you confidence in corners.
Mine has had a basic de-restriction and will do ...
