If you are looking for inspiration for your home .... don't bother. If you want to purchase hair straighteners, have your teeth whitened or have a back massage and be surrounded by copious amounts of tat that you can buy in most pound shops, then this is the place to go. Very disappointing and will not bother to go again.

It is not worth all the time it took from Norwich to get there, I remember years ago new and exciting idea where one was amazed at all the new innovation, alas just disappointment it was like a car boot or sunday market.

Oh dear, something has gone terribly terribly wrong with the Ideal Home Exhibition. They need to seriously get a better team that know what they are doing in organising and booking. Go back several years and look what attracted so many people to flock to what use to be a great exhibition. No houses to look round to gain inspiration, no paint sections, no wallpaper suppliers, no where to look and purchase cushions, vases etc… just chavvy cheap clothes, tacky jewellery, loads of gadgets for sale showing you how to chop food. Not many stalls, no atmosphere just very very disappointing. Not a shed in sight, no fence sprayers, no kitchen ideas, no proper room set ups, nothing. To think how far we travelled it was simply terrible. I certainly won’t be going again unless the organisers pull their socks up, look at the archive photos and bring it back to what it use to be. You should be able to walk out of there with a bag full of exciting information to renovate your home and a brain full of the way forward in making your house a home. So frustrating that I pay d to go and paid travel costs.

I purchased a window cleaning kit from the ideal home. When I got home what was in the bag was completely deference from what he was showing us .I was disgusted I payed £30 pounds. Are they allowed to do this don’t you look into people who are selling things there is no leaflet inside the bag where you can get spare’s. Never again will I go ,the food was disgusting no where to sit .Also so expensive .Any suggestion’s what I do about my window cleaning kit.? I would like to hear.

We used to go to the Ideal Home Show every Year and this is the first time back after Covid but at Olympia instead of Earls Court. Downstairs was just full of sofa stands, tacky but expensive massage chairs and a totally uninspiring 'show house'. Upstairs was the 'Food and Drink' fair. What a joke! well overpriced rubbish burgers, chicken and chips and the usual theme park type garbage. Food stalls consisted of loads of gin and rum stands and the odd pastry/pasty type places. So disappointed!

I am a disabled person. I bought the ticket online. I was made to pay twice. Once £15.35 and another one £10.00. I am finding impossible to get my refund. Dishonest business. Save your money and visit a shopping mall.

What a waste of my time. Nothing new no show houses or gardens. Just a load of tat. Several handbag and shoes stands nothing to do with the home. Food hall disgusting not enough seating to eat over priced unappetising food. Will never go again. Hve heard the same remarks for many people.

Shockingly hideous and bad. Upper floor looked like a Dickensian nightmare of cheap market tat, snake oil salesmen selling copper bracelets and made in China nik naks. The “dream home” major attraction was - I have never in my life seen such a tragic display of tat, plastic plants, plastic grass, wobbly picket fence, plastic wood veneer and cheap sofas. Beyond insane. It was like a perfect reflection of the downfall of the UK post Brexit; we just don’t have nice things now. Don’t go. Save your money and your soul.

When we first arrived at 11.30 the whole place was out of milk. When milk arrived later there were no coffee beans! Had free tickets, glad we did as the whole show was very lack lustre. No brand new ideas, only sofas, garden pods, and solar panels as the main attraction. The food and drink festival wasn’t much either. Street food stalls around the outside of the hall. Not very inspiring, lack of seating area. Not a patch on previous shows.

I really wish I had read the reviews before travelling approx 300 miles for a total waste of time to this exhibition. I visited this many years ago and it was full of great ideas, new gadgets and so many innovations to create a perfect home. As the other reviews mention, what on earth have cats, dogs, hair tools and make up got to do with an ideal home. I was even asked about hair removal! The 'dream home' was boring, cluttered and dark and had nothing new and exciting to inspire us. If we had wanted garden furniture we can go to the local garden centre. Pets are not kept by all and don't help to create an ideal home for everybody. I did try to check on what exhibits were on show but the site had very limited information, now I know why, no one would purchase a ticket. If we could get a refund for the tickets I would definitely fight for one, it was totally appalling and we will never return.

Luckily we had free tickets and we didn’t make a special journey to visit . We were hoping to come away with good ideas for a new house we wish to build . Show full of stalls selling things like dog food , sunglasses , ladies make up and kitchen accessories. The only things in the whole show we thought may be useful were some tiles we saw which a gentleman told us who the supplier is ( not represented at the show ) and some advice from a helpful young lady on heat pumps . Nothing modern , no big names , no bathroom suites etc , one stall of built in wardrobes . Will not bother again and obviously none of the leading companies in bathrooms / kitchens / bedroom furniture etc will bother to attend either . Reminded me of a market .

Expensive, boring, very little inspiration. Smallest ever show home...ugly modernist dull building. Food court really messy, overcrowded and tacky/smelly.Dont waste money on junk food use thehe Garden Restaurant to right of main entrance...a clean, professional, quiet oasis....with attentive staff and decent wholesome proper food (2courses for £25)- a good sized portion of the salmon with choice of accompaniments and delicious large apple turnover with custard (choices for both courses). There were far too many tacky duplicate stalls and the usual bulk selling slicers choppers and pans....but oh so little innovation. Very very little for kids so don't take them. Half of one hall given over to garden furniture...only 2 types...plasticky rattan or wood...all same looking and really boring. Hardly any freebies apart from tiny chocolate spread sample. Don't go. Don't waste your money...this show is way past it's best. All competitions seemed to require a smartphone to firstly read codes. The whole thing is a
