    I placed an order with ecampus.com because I could not find my college textbooks anywhere else for less than my campus bookstore was selling them, which is typical. Neither Barnes & Noble nor Amazon had them. Afterward I did a research review on ecampus, and found it to be dismal.

    Personally, I think they're being picked on, although I have no doubt that at least some of the reviews that I read are true.

    I contacted ecampus and told them about their track record. I let them know how much it sucked. They did not respond to my allegations about their so-called dismal service but I did get a "Thank You for shopping at ecampus," followed up by how my order was doing and when it was shipped etc.

    Frankly, I don't know what the accusations on the internet are all about. Maybe their competitors are just trying to give them a hard time. That, of course, can be a two-way street. I got good service from ecampus.

    I think all you need to do, basically, is let ecampus know that you have researched their service, let them know that people are saying it stinks, and give them an adequate amount of time to get your books to you.

    I think they will bend over backwards to get a good review from you, as they seemed to do with me, since providing college textbooks is such a competitive business, especially in today's economy. No one wants to go out of business just because their former customers think they stink and have gone elsewhere.

    If you need your books by March 15 and it's now March 14, it's not gonna happen, no matter who you order from.

    If you absolutely positively have to have a book or books in 24 hours or less, and you live in the U.S., I'll be more than happy to deliver it to your doorstep personally, at $1.50 per mile.

    I told ecampus when I needed my books and that if I got them on time, I would give them glowing reviews plastered all over the internet about how happy I am. That's what I'm doing right now.

    I ordered on October 21, told them about their track record, and stated that I needed my books by November 2. I got the first set of my books several days ago, and the last book showed up on my doorstep either sometime yesterday, or sometime this morning. This book was listed as "used," as I ordered it. It is in good shape, but there is some writing and highlighting in it.

    So I've got some answers to some of the review questions, and class hasn't even started yet. High five!

    All in all, I found ecampus's ordering and shipping service to be excellent. They got my order to me at least 4 days ahead of my schedule, and I get to have a stress free weekend.

    I received my textbooks on time and in the described condition. I saved quite a bit of money through them and plan on using them for years to come!

    DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ecampus.com!! I made a big mistake giving this web site a try. The ecampus.com web site is confusing and misleading. Unbeknownst to me, I ordered the student manual instead of the textbook. I called the customer service number when I received it, and was given NO help by the customer "service" representative who took my call.     June 2009, I wish I would have read some of the reviews on eCampus.com before ordering. I ordered Nursing school books from ecampus.com. I was charged for 3 books and only received 2. The company put a cancellation on 1 of the books before the rest of the books shipped. So I naturally bought that book from another online supplier (Thank you AMAZON.com) Then I checked my order status with ecampus to see if the 2 books had shipped.     I sent in a buyback to eCampus.com in January and it is May now. I have not received a check yet. I contacted them in the beginning of April and they said they were cutting a check that THURSDAY! Yet to see any money. I am telling you DO NOT USE eCampus.com. I am very very very dissatisfied. They hand out false information. It has been 15+ weeks and still NO check.

    Never paid me for my buyback. Week after week email after email telling me checks are behind, no ETA, blah blah. It has been 15 weeks and I have nothing to show for it. NEVER AGAIN will I use eCampus.

    I have yet to receive my buyback check. I returned my book in August and it is January! I've called over five times and even emailed them. I'm frustrated and disappointed. I do not recommend using this company.

    I wished I could've read these review before I ordered! I order a fluid mechanics book. It took ONE AND HALF MONTH to receive a WRONG BOOK. I sent it back in mid October, kept emailing them to check up on the progress. I did not receive a reply to my emails, and I still don't have my money back. It's December now. I have no book, no money back.

    It's been 5 months since I sent them Buyback books. I have yet to receive a check and frankly, it seems I may never get one. In short, don't sell your books to Ecampus.

    I ordered a textbook from eCampus on May 2nd and my classes started on May 5th. I paid the extra money to have 2-day shipping, but the confirmation email stated that the book would be shipped no later than May 8th and would arrive no later than May 12th!!! When I checked my bank account, I was already charged the price of the book, which they say will not happen until the book ships.     I have bought a book from ecampus.com, and they mentioned that orders over $59 are qualified for free shipping. I had been charged with the shipping due to a hidden statement saying that not all the buyers/seller qualifies. I just find this a wrong way of doing business. If you are a potential buyer be careful what you are charged for, as you may end up paying a lot more than you think. You can probably find even better deals on the Internet.     Terrible customer service. I bought a new text book as a reference book. When I notice that 46 pages were missing, not ripped out, but actually not part of the book when manufactured, it was past the 30 day return period. Customer service will not work with you on an exchange period. I tried BBB but again they stand by their return policy, even if the book is defective. I'll use Amazon or my local bookseller from now on.

    I ordered a textbook from them. After not hearing from them for a week I called to check on the status. I was told that I had to send an email to check on the status. I sent an email. A week later, I still have not heard from them. One day before class starts and I have to order from someone else.

    Ordered book from eCampus for online college course. Had to have book for access code to begin online class. Book ordered Jan. 9. Recieved email stating would ship no later than Jan. 16 and be delivered by Jan. 17. (paid additional cost for expedited ship). Had not received book by Jan. 21 (2 wks behind in class) Received email from them stating their supplier did not have item and would be searching for book elsewhere. Stated they were sorry for inconvenience.

    Almost two weeks after placing my order at ecampus.com, I began to get nervous because not only had my book not arrived and I had gone two days of classes without the required text (I had paid the extra money for fast delivery), but they hadn't even charged my account yet!     I ordered a Human Anatomy book which came as a package with a cd-rom. The book came without the CD, and now it is too late to return it. Also, I think their customer service is atrocious and the book I ordered took forever to come. I will NEVER buy books from them again.

    I ordered a textbook for my daughter from eCampus on September 9th, and paid extra for a 2 day rush delivery. She hadn't received it by the middle of September, so I sent them an e-mail asking them to contact me right away. They never did. There is no phone number to call.     They have a lifetime rating of 1.14 out of 10 on another site. Wish I'd checked more thoroughly before placing my order. The best I can do is put this review everywhere I can think of.     5/1/07 I ordered a book from eCampus to be shipped 2nd day air. 5/2 I received an email created at 3:46am to confirm my order and shipment. 5/8 - My credit card has been charged. My book has yet to arrive. And I was unable to complete an assignment because I didn't have my book!!

    I tried ordering the same textbook from amazon.com, they told me to wait 1 week. then e-mailed me that it's gonna take another 2 weeks. If I still want it, then 2 weeks. later I called them, then they told me they're NOT gonna be able to ship it to me sooner than another 2 months!!!!!! So I cancelled the order, searched around and then found ecampus.com, ordered from them, got it in 5 days, and the price is A LOT cheaper!
