My father owned this Nokia 6600 phone during 2005 and now he changed to another model. The large screen size is good for multimedia content.Very bulky and may give little trouble to carry on.Keypad is very small which includes basic keys for operation. With installed Symbian OS it is not secure and it is prone to viral attacks.Third party anti-virus tools can help to protect the phone.Connectivity options include bluetooth and IR but USB data cable is not available. After connecting the web via GPRS it renders the page at good speed.Useful and must have software are not available inside the phone such as DivX player,Security tools and a good web browser.Default players can play only mp3,3gp,real media ,wav and aac file formats.By using third party media players the list can be extended. Finally spending money on this phone is not a good option because there are so many good models with advanced features available in this price range.

It accepts all types of software. This phone has the facility to change its message status from phone memory to memory card, due 2 which, we can download files which are big. Due to the joystick it's easy to handle. The night mode of this phone is excellent! No other phone has this much clarity in night mode. It is also easy to operate.

Well, I liked the Nokia 6600 phone to be honest, but I lost it after 6 months for the main reason of I forgot where I left it & when I called on it I could not hear it at work one of the comments I mentioned above! On the whole if you are looking just for a good phone, this is one of them, just as long as you don't SMS all the time!!!! The battery life is not great as you will have to charge this Nokia once a day - full charge a must, for a full day's mind at rest. If you are a person who uses t ...

Having been desperate to get my hands on a Nokia 7650, I was really pleased when Nokia released the 6600, and even happier when O2 let me upgrade for free 2 years ago.

Open the box and you're confronted with something akin to a black and white bar of soap. It's a nice shape to hold, but it's thinner at the bottom than the top, so I found I kept dropping it. It didn't seem to affect the phone at all however, and because it's black the chipped plastic is barely noticeable.

    Turn the phone on, ...

I bought the latest Nokia 6600 black edition just last week, and I gave my Samsung X-660 to my wife.

The screen size and quality is awesome; taking pictures and playing games are now more exciting. The 65k colours are vivid, and I couldn't imagine its beauty if it's in 262k colours screen!

Battery life is acceptable. I've got 2 days of power for taking pictures, playing Java games, recording videos, calling and sending text/MMS messages.

    The features - I couldn't ask for more. I've just ...

The Nokia 6600 is a Symbian mobile phone which means that it works like a computer allowing it to install things like MP3 Players, image editors and games etc.

Overall, I think that this is a good phone, but I would not recommend it because there are many other phones on the market that are better.

I have had the Nokia 6600 mobile phone for about 3 months now, and I think it is a great phone! You can buy an extra memory card for it, which are quite cheap, and you can also download a wide array of applications for it.

When I first got the phone, I was a bit disappointed that I was unable to playback MP3's, but thanks to an application that I downloaded, I can play MP3's perfectly. You can also get upgraded camera utilities.

I have just bought a Nokia 6600 Smart phone, and I am so happy to have made such a good choice.

It has a very good reception, full screen playback for videos using the SmartMovie Player software from LonelyCat Co. It has very good screen quality too. As I use many software applications, this phone supports a wide range of custom software for various applications.

If you're looking for a good mobile phone that is loaded with the capabilities of a PC, then this is your best choice for less i ...

I bought the Nokia 6600 because Vodafone were charging me a fortune and I decided the move to the 3 network (which is great by the way) I got this phone becuase it came with the deal, I used to have a p900 which is currently being unlocked so I can get rid of this piece of junk on ebay 0 the battery life is awful, it is so slow, you call up your contacts and you wait forever for then to load, the camera is useless and its the most unergonomic thing I have ever encountered. Do yourself a favour a ...

I'd just like to say that the Nokia 6600 is a very bad phone. I found the screen to be far too big and the phone is bulky. My advice would be to never buy it.

In my opinion, the Nokia 6600 is the greatest phone that I have used, but too bad my phone get stolen...=< it is the best phone if I compare with 6670, although 6670 have 4x 1.3mp camera, 10 minute video recording n 48 chord polyphonic but, they are still same,a smart phone, same height, and 6600 have infrared. This means you can take some stuff from laptop or others phone. The baby keypad button is a little bit small, and when I sms, I will press the wrong button. No Chinese software input and t ...

I recently sold my Samsung E630 and bought the Nokia 6600. What the heck? I couldn't even text with only one hand because of the size of it. The menu is also too far to the left. It felt annoying when I put it in my pocket as it is bulky and big.

Guess what I did? I sold it and bought a Samsung D410 which was very good. That's another story...
