Good Points: Great full range sound, Excellent Bass with good imaging. The cabinets were among the first to address heavy 1" particle board construction. Eliminating box resonents and side wall sound radiation.
Bad Points: Hard to find, Surrounds are generaly Bad. Need to be replaced.
General comments: These speakers are the begining of the affordable hi fi that realy still perform quite well. Designed by Henry Closs of Current (Cambridge Audio Fame) Henry also designed the Advent, and KLH Speaker lines. I some times find AR and Advent at thrift shops and have the surrounds replaced. Generaly under $50.00 Dollars US.
