The fact that i have been banking with Abbey Flexible Saver Savings Account for many years now they do not trust me with my own money and do not allow any upgrade from this account.
you have to carry large sums of money around with you if you want to make the odd larger purchases,as you can only withdraw cash because you can not be trusted with a simple debit card

Abbey Flexible Saver Savings Account is easy to set up application online. Easy to get through on phone.
However there has been no response whatsoever since online application. No confirmation e.mail reply as stated to outline next steps. I have phoned 3 times and sent e.mail - still nothing after almost 3 weeks!
They have received my personal details which were sent in good faith to open an account and haven't had the decency to make any reply or acknowledgement. Don't they want to do business ...- Read Guest's review (88 words)

Still trying to open an account after applying on June 10th (now July 24th). Identification documents and cheque now sent for third time. If not opened by next Monday (July 28th) I am cancelling the application and I have also written to Customer Satisfaction Services about this. Very poor service!- Read Guest's review (66 words)

The Abbey Flexible Saver is a great Savings account with facilites to make depsits and withdrawls by:
Cash Machine, Internet, Post, Branch, Phone.
