I have owned many epson printers and found them all to be very good, yes they do use a bit too much ink and yes it is expensive, but I only use genuine cartridges and have never had blocked heads etc. I am still using my epson r200 very succesfully and print most days.

Only just got an Epson RX420 multifunction printer/scanner so perhaps it's a little early.
However as there are no other reviews on here perhaps this might assist others searching for info. I am well pleased so far.

Try Epson e-talk - I have found them instantly very helpful in the past with queries about their products. www.etalk.epson.co.uk

Hello James, sorry to see that you have had problems with it as mine is absolutely fine. My neighbours have also bought one now on seeing how mine performs and the results. It has had great reviews in various magazines as well since.

<br>To try and assist, we both have USB2 connections and are using "XP Home". May I suggest you try the Epson site to see if there is a specific driver for the 'Millinium' edition. If that doesn't work perhaps a re-install of the scanner software might do the trick.

Good to read your review and that your machine is working. Mine prints well and copies well but I can't get to scan, all I keep getting is Epson Scan cannot be found, or 'location unavavilable'. Epson are not replying to my queries. John lewis have been trying to help. Are you using any special USB connection? I'm on Windows ME.
