I don't usually write reviews but I think that this deserves one, especially as reviews on this site helped me decide where to order my camera from.
I was very very pleased with my experience of ordering from UK digital cameras - was easy to order, the delivery options were good value (except there was no free delivery option but i suspect this may have been the result of the postal strike) and my camera arrived, as promised, the next business day. It was safely packaged and in good condition and exactly what I had ordered. It also comes with a promise that if anything goes wrong in the next 2 years, I'm covered. I would definitely use this site again and would recommend it highly to anyone wanting to buy a camera.

First time I have used this company. I have to say that it will not be the last. Fantastic customer service, they always went the extra mile. Whilst using their chat feature on the website I heard my mobile phone ringing. On answering I found it was the same person from the chat feature who decided it would be easier to talk to me. I cannot think of any other company that would do that.
The price of the camera was one of the best and although others undercut the price by ten pounds none of them ...

I have ordered digital cameras from www.ukdigitalcameras.co.uk 3 times over the last 5 years and have to say the service is excellent. Last Friday I ordered a Panasonic Lumix TZ6 bundled with a case and SD card for £218.99 which I thought was very good value (couldn't find it cheaper). Although I opted for the cheapest delivery option it arrived first thing Monday morning safe and sound and well packaged. I would definately recomend www.ukdigitalcameras.co.uk to anyone.

What a great company UK Digital Cameras is! A friend recommended this company when I was after a Lumix TZ7 and I will certainly be doing the same.

Not only was the ordering speedy and easy but I received a phone call confirming the details and thanking me for my web order and then a despatch email, the camera actually turned up at 8.30 on Saturday, we were not expecting it until Monday!

The other neat service I used was their secondhand trade in, they payed for the shipping of my old and soon ...

I ordered a Kodak 8" digital frame over the net (very easy) and it was delivered the next working day although I had not requested fast post. Unfortunately one of the lugs on the power unit broke when I tried to assemble the UK 3pin plug and they didn't have another in stock. The UK Digital Cameras staff were very obliging and sent me what was thought to be the correct replacement. A two year guarantee on a camera is exceptional yet when I had a problem with my Fuji Digital Cameras responded in an exceptional manner. A local dealer quoted me "about £100 for the repair which they said would take SIX to EIGHT WEEKS"
UK DIGITAL CAMERAS took only ten days and the only charge was for the postage to them and not a penny more.
This must be rated as a service that will be exceptionally hard to better.

Extremely helpful at the end of the phone. I was re-assured that some of the accessories I was looking for were the correct and only available options for the camera.
Otherwise guided towards suitable and less expensive alternatives, which perhaps I would not have sorted for myself.
Excellent delivery time and follow-up.
UK Digital Cameras is my first choice for future purchases.

i did not expect my camera to be delivered so quickly from uk digital cameras, i think this company is excellent. i first saw the camera i wanted in my local currys and decided to google the make to see if i could find it at a cheaper price. I saved over £50 and deliverd to my door the next day, brilliant. i cannot recomend this company highly enough and i have told all my friends and relitaves if they are looking for a camera or a camcorder please look at this sight first.

The transaction with UK Digital cameras was straight forward I can't fault them. I would definitely recommend UK Digital cameras. I buy a lot of things on the internet and this company ranks with the best I have dealt with.

hi just wish to send my thanks for the excellant service provide by uk digital cameras once again...can not be faulted in anyway...some other oneline sites who sell digital photographic equipment could learn from them! having tried others since my first order with uk digital cameras a few years ago...i returned and found they were even better...not easy in the fierce world of internet retailing... too many claim to be in the uk when actually they are in hong kong or further afield and go to grea ...

My camera was delivered two days after ordering it online. I phoned UK Digital Cameras a couple of times to check availability and delivery times. Both times my call was answered (not always the case with other sites).
Packing could have been better. A load of newspaper (!) was shoved in the bottom of the outer box, with none at all on the top.
The camera survived. Availability was as stated on the website, the price was reasonable, delivery was quick - a good experience.

After searching around for several days for a new camera, the Fujifilm Finepix S5500 seemed to jump out as the one for me. UK Digital Cameras was simply the cheapest UK-based company that I could find offering one that was brand new and not used or refurbished.
