Good Points: Cheap calls
Bad Points: Cheaper isn't always better Access number not working Hear your self speaking. Cards expire before 45 days of first use. No customer service. Only 1 in 3 cards have working PIN numbers.
General comments: I have used these cards for more than a year now, but found Primus (Planet talk) are having serious issues concerning reliability of their service.
I live in a small town outside London and I am restricted to phone cards available to me. Thus I keep buying them. But thanks to the internet I can buy other labels.
Ok enough about me. Here is what found.
Last week I bought three £5 cards like usual.
The first card I used I found I difficult to get thru to their service. When finally got thru the sound was jittery and delayed.
While I was trying to get a message across to my relatives. I could also hear my self in the background. Frustrated we postponed the call to the next day.
The next day when I tried to use the card again the Pin number is not recognized by their system. So I open a new card and found the same problem. I then called their service number only to be told that I have to take it back to where I bought them.
At the shop they refused to exchange the cards. They said it is not their problem and I have to sort it out with the phone card company.
Catch 22 !!!
