    Good Points: Friendly staff


    Bad Points: Small shower, basic food with a lack of salad, and small choice. Old fashioned interior.


    General comments: The hotel Londra Palace Hotel is very basic. Other hotels in the area that are 3 starred seemed plusher from the reception areas and when viewed externally. The rooms etc. are old fashioned. The bathroom has no shower and a very very small shower.
    Breakfast was cereals or crusty cobs with cheese and ham for the 14 days. Fruit juice, water and cake was also available.
    The staff preferred that you choose your lunch at breakfast, to make things easier for them and the chef presumably. The choice of starter was either fruit juice, soup or a pasta based dish on most days. Not all three as I first thought but just one. On some occasions the waiter, seemingly at his discretion, would ask if we wished for more of the starter to eat. We were asked about 5 times and took up the offer on 2 occasions. The main meal was served on a small dish with vegetables of the season (however it seems courgettes were most in season) with what seems like either a choice of a pasta based dish, veal, chicken, or omelette. Again only one option could be chosen but it was possible to change the meal if you did not like it and get another option which we did ask for once. You have to make your own entertainment at the hotel. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. Ask them about places to visit. The pool is acceptable but must get crowded at high season.
    The hotel is not bad but I think that there would be a better alternative if I stayed in the area again.
