    Good Points: Excellent location/good view
    Good food
    Friendly and helpful staff


    Bad Points: None


    General comments: Locanda Orseolo - Just 2 minutes from St Marks Square.
    The staff was on first names with everyone, a family business and very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was of 2 canals meeting with gondolas passing through. Quiet at night. The breakfast was excellent, especially the sugar and real lemon pancakes. The room had a small hallway before leading to a bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle and a clean, well furnished bedroom with teasmaker and mini-fridge which had fresh milk for tea or coffee no powder stuff.
    Would recommend it to anyone staying in Venice. No bad points at all.
