I stayed at the Reuben Court Aparthotel in June, and paid £74 for a week (including flights) through Malta Bargains. I had a great holiday. The hotel was what you would expect for £74, but Malta is a fantastic island! The people are wonderful, and there are some great restaurants. Explore the island by renting a jeep, and drive from one side to the other in an hour. Visit the beaches. Book through the small local shops for boat trips to Gozo, and try the speed boat trip to the Blue Grotto; this is great!
Although the hotel was run down, and the pool didn't look clean, but you're on an island surrounded by the Med, so who needs a swimming pool? We never even considered eating there, but you are surrounded by fab restaurants.
The staff were the same as I have experienced in any other country on a cheap bargain getaway. The rooms do not have air conditioning and they were very hot, but they were cleaned every day. The hotel does need a complete refurb, but this did not spoil our holiday, as there is so much to do and see in Malta that all we needed was a shower and somewhere to sleep. So if you have already booked and you are reading bad reviews and regretting booking, don't worry. Just be ready for a very basic hotel to use as a base and nothing more, and have a wonderful time.

The only good points about Reuben Court Hotel was that it had a pool on the roof the view was very good. Malta itself was a lovely place to visit but i wouldnt recommend the reubens court.- Read carlreilly's review (71 words)

The holiday was cheap at £240 each for two weeks, we expected a bad hotel / apartment. Reuben Court Aparthotel was nothing like what we imagined. The staff were nice and friendly, rooms were clean, what more could we have asked for?- Read zoecube's review (49 words)
