“Wardrobe Door Fell Off”

I purchased a new suite of bedroom furniture from Dreams SLOAN range (made by Weinmann) 3 months later I had a matching bed delivered but when tidying the room a door fell off the wardrobe - Dreams just refered my complaint (probaby due to poor fitting by Dreams) to the manufactures (it's now been a month with no action despite several complaints) - I am now about to refer the matter to Trading Standards and I will not deal with Dreams again… Read Full Review

“poor quality bed”

I purchased this bed and after some time it start making squeaky noise. I contacted them and they sent engineer to fix the bed. I observed that the screws got loose as it was poor chipboard quality. After some time the problem started again. The engineer came and wrote a report which says its is not manufacture fault. I am surprised that if this is not manufacture fault then what it is. Fine - until you have a problem then you wait for ten minutes to speak to a rude individual who tells you 'tough luck' in so many words. You then wait for the call from the manager - it doesn't come. In March 2017 we purchased a bed from the Hull store and it was a fiasco from beginning to returning of the bed. In May I put this in writing, in great detail, to the CEO and never heard a word back. It was recorded delivery and we have proof of that delivery. We did receive the full refund with no letter. Visited Dumfries store today. 2 members of staff and one showed us a few beds.narrowed it down and picked one.were left to choose a headboard. Once chosen we looked for staff member and they were sitting on piece of furniture on mobile phone.they saw us looking and moved to other end of store still on phone. No one else in shop and other staff member looked at us on three occasions and then started laughing with other staff who was still on phone. “Do not buy sale items - sub standard goods delivered ”

Double check sale items. I bought a bed and luxury mattress in the sale, when it was delivered the bed had a very significant hole in it. I phoned Dreams to inform them of the fault only to be told It was not company policy to exchange sale goods for new ones and if i wanted the bed base replaced i would need to pay a further £330 .... Having bought the adjustable bed at the time I asked the salesperson is this memory foam was told no and later denied it . “Poor Workmanship”

I ordered a bed from Dreams about a year ago! I had decorators in who moved the bed and broke the head board whilst doing so. I telephoned customer service who assisted me with purchasing new legs for the headboard but then decided not to repair the headboard or let me purchase a new one as a plow to get me to purchase an entirely new Ottoman bed. Terrible company to deal with when you need ongoing support. We spent £1800 on a "quality" mattress called the resplendent following advice from the sale team in store. Both my husband and i suffer with chronic back pain, therefore a good quality matress is a must! We were advised to purchase this mattress as it apparently has good support, we also had a 10 year guarantee. I'm glad I read this. I won't go into detail but we have the same situation. The guy came out and spent 2 hrs with my missus ( I was at work ) to measure the sinkage which is about 70 mm both sides. I'm 17st ( irrelevant ) my missus 10st and sunk the same. He claim it was no more than 50mm yet didn't put a straight edge across to measure down from. !!! ??? My missus said oh well and took his word. To add insult to injury we had a tear at the handle of the mattress when we turned it. And the " assecceor " went to his boot of his car and came in with a sowing kit and said he'll stitch it back together. UNBELIEVABLE
I'm am now under the spinal diagnostic clinic with spondylitis, thoracic outlet syndrome and kyphosis. I'm going to war on this now. How dare they. Hope you get a resolution.

Myself and my husband purchased a new bed and mattress from Dreams 3 years ago. We spent approx £1500 in total (£750 of that for the mattress alone). Having spent so much money we also paid for an additional 10 year Guarntee ! 3 years later and the mattress has dipped in the middle and we are both unable sleep on it due to back pain! went into Dreams to buy a zip and link, but member of staff in bridgend store directed me to a pocket sprung bed instead saying they were cheaper. i got the full demo and spiel on how they worked as id never had one before. come delivery 2 weeks later the mattress is too robust/inflexible to get up the stairs. delivery guy was really nice but didn't want to damage it getting it up there. I bought a new bad and mattress from Dreams in December 2016, to be delivered in Jan17. On the evening before the delivery day, i got a call from customer team saying the mattress was not available and they would have updated in the next week or 2. I selected a Westland D Matress which was not available to view in the Salisbury Dreams store, but I was shown an alternative product which was supposed to a close match. I would rather jump into a pit of venomous snakes than shop ever again at dreams bedding. Established as a leading UK bedding brand, on delivery of my bed they refused to collect the divan, only mattress. I had requested sales team to remove both units. Just to say if you are thinking of getting a new bed/mattress etc don't use Dreams. Bought mattress (not a cheap one) in June. Felt uncomfortable hard and lumpy so went for their 40 night exchange and paid all the extra. They refused to exchange when the delivery came in August as they said there was paint on the mattress which was impossible from when it was at mine. the original sofa bed ordered came and your team was unable to get it up the stairs , had to re-order a flat pack one, told by your customer service team (ha ha) that there would be no refund as the flat pack was cheaper, after arguing with your representative we got some vouchers but not for the full amount. At no time did any one in your store explain that if they could not get the item up stairs that we would have trouble changing it. ( no money refund)… Read Full Review
