Stay well clear of this company very poor customer service,i was on hold for over 3 hours until I finally gave up tried the next day and was on hold a further 1hr and 44mins until I finally got through to there customer services,cancelled my policy andwas told I would get a refund within 7 working day that was july 16th and I'm still waiting for it,after many more telephone calls I still have not had it,i have not put in a complaint and they have till the 17th of September to get back to… Read Full Review

been with asda a couple of years no problems, bought a car yesterday and tried to amend my claim was on hold for a total of 1hr and 40 mins and my online account wouldn't recognise me grrrr! used a financial company to dig about they got me a contact for Brightside who are partners with asda and gave me, got straight through and they made the amendment straight away...if you are experiencing the same problem hope this helps!As for asda shocking level of non existent customer service! needless… Read Full Review

Took out a policy sent the documents required,next thing email saying they would cancel the policy re sent the documents, even recieved notification of receipt still got emails asking for documents.phoned for 8 days running on hold for over an hour each time and failed to get through.rang number for a new policy got through straight away.they haven't replied to my emails or texts and as of today the ninth day they still haven't answered there phone, these people are an absolute disgrace and… Read Full Review

“Lying theifs ”

Dreadful service insured my car over the phone,no problems! Until 2 weeks later received a letter giving me 2 days notice that they had cancelled the policy I rung up and seems the div on the other end of the phone spelt my name wrong and managed to also get the postcode wrong they refused to change it and insisted that I would have to take out a new policy on top of that they charged me cancellation fees the lot and took a direct debit out 2 weeks after it had been cancelled! After paying for my insurance online I couldn't access the policy due to a problem with their website and therefore couldn't access my insurance documents. I decided to give them a ring and after waiting over 30 mins on hold to speak to someone I was greeted with a customer service advisor who couldn't help me but could cancel the policy for £45 together with £5 for this and £5 for that plus £27.50 direct debit set up fee. The customer service i had from this so called business was nothing short of disgraceful. The people i spoke to on the phone did not care i had any problems and did not want top help resolve. I HAVE RECENTLY TAKEN OUT A POLICY WITH ASDA OVER THE PHONE.SINCE THEN THEY HAVE HAD ME JUMPING THROUGH HOOPS TRYING TO GET THE POLICY VALIDATED.NO CLAIMS PROTECTION,COPTES OF D/L BACK AND FRONT PAPER COPIES.EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE DONE THAT THEY TELL YOU THEY Have not recieved the documentation and the policy will be cancelled causing more stress.Even when you have evidence you have done everything requested they still deny it.Then when you really think you have had enough and just want to cancel… Read Full Review

Had insurance with asda for a year with no issues, renewal time i took out another year and in the first month i brought a new car so i cancelled my insurance as they wouldnt insure my new car, not only was i charged in fees nearly the whole years insurance premium, it is 3 weeks later and chasing them for my no claims and still nothing, everytime i ring im fobbed off withy we are still sorting it out and will be with you soon, now my new insurance company is threatening to cancel my policy… Read Full Review

Just a quick update now the accident case is due in court Asda Zenith car insurance have now lost all my info including the quotes estimates I sent them and have decided to close my account, basically Iam on my own

I read some good comments at Daily Telegraph news paper rating of car insurance company.
My renew qoute is £397 while last year I paid £316. I have not claimed anything in 20 years. Interstingly I searched for another qoute on Confused.Com today I was a quote £298. When I was directed to ASDA money it jumped to £397. I phoned both Confused.com and ASDA, I must say Conf.com did their best But ASDA was not listening but were just talking and talking. Not impressed at all. Decision is yours.....but I would not insure.....

You are so right my first quote from asda was 700 pounds by the time I took the insurance it had shot up to eleven hundred. They are awfully we must warn as many as possible about them on Facebook twitter and by word of mouth before its to late, thanks for your comment

Asda are happy to take your money but as soon as you want some help or information they basically have an attitude of what are you asking us for, talk to your underwriter. It took me 6 phone calls and over an hour on the phone just to organise getting a windscreen chip repaired. Avoid like the plague!… Read Full Review

You so right, I spend hour after hour waiting for,an answer and paying for a premium rate calls to be treated like an idiot, lost my car my money and my partners health and have received nothing not even a courtesy car,the big fat Walmart cats in America are happy to grab our money

Insured with asda not realising that my previous insurance (insurance factory) had rolled over into another year (2015). Found therefore that i was insured twice for the same car. Contacted Asda within the 14 day cooling off period (day 12), and cancelled my insurance with them, following their terms and conditions. Cancelled on January 12th 2015. I could write my whole experience with Asda car insurance, but it would take hours! Threatening letters and emails of cancellation with no details as to why. Promises that never happen. Increased my premium by another £144 saying I hadn't declared an accident ( I did, but it was malicious damage). Turned out to be a very expensive insurance - 3 times more than other insurances. They couldn't tell me how much it was to cancel unless I went ahead with it. I ended up with stress and anxiety… Read Full Review

Quite possibly the easiest form to fill in. I contacted the helpline recently when I changed my car, and they were so polite and helpful and made everything so easy.
