The worst Customer Service I have ever come across. The attitude of the people picking up the phone is too much to bare.

I had to do all the ringing around myself even though I was fully comp and it states on their website that they will do all this for you. When calling their call centres the people I have delt with have not been able to help. I was left worrying whether I was to blame or not (and still am!) even though I was sent a letter by Asda saying the other party had accepted liability. I then had a letter from the courtesy car people saying the other party was blaming me?!

I was a Asda car insurance customer for nearly 3 years after passing my test in birmingham they was always brill and always looked after me whenever i changed my car or moved across birmingham. Customer service was brilliant cannot fault them. I just wish they would sort out there prices for one of the safest postal codes in the country. North Devon!

Really good as you can at least speak to people rather than an automated service. Customer Service may not be that great but hey find me an insurance company where all their customers have a great customer service experience!

Had two claims - really poor response from Asda car insurance for both, and numerous recurring costs due to both claims. 4 day wait for car window damage as a result damage to interior of car and 70 pounds added to my phone bill because of calling for 3 days non-stop up to 7 times a day. Terrible service overall.

If you go with Asda Price Search, when you decide to cancel you policy - ask for written confirmation or an email regarding the end date and repeat you end date two or three times within the initial phone call to cancel. Customer Service at this company is awful

You can get better and cheaper car insurance.

Norwich Union underwrite Asda car insurance; thus, they control the goal posts. You have to fight tooth and nail for anything you are entitled to.
One of their staff wanted to leave us to our own devices, until I rang back and got a more sympathetic person.

They fail to phone you back.
When they do eventually get back to you, they try anything to refute a fair and just claim.

Asda car insurance have not provided a written statement of their position, despite my requests.
They make you wonder why you buy insurance.

I was involved in an accident where I was not at fault it has been over a month and am still without my car being repaired, as Asda have been asking me for the most pathetic paperwork ever. Such as how I paid for the car and proof of payment which has nothing to do with them. When I did speak to a manager finally after calling many times she was very rude and just made me more angry and had no customer service skills. They clearly do not know what they are talking about and even though they are ...

In an accident I was involved in, I was the driver NOT at fault. I had a witness, and yet they decided to award 50/50 liability in my case (I am currently fighting to be awarded what I am entitled to) . My repairs total £490, my excess is £400 and Asda car insurance cannot be bothered to recoup the £90, as it would 'be too expensive'. This is not 'looking after customers' best interests!!

It's a good thing for the insurance industry, as both parties lose 2 years NCD, so they ...

Asda car Insurance are a cheap online car insurance company (underwritten by Norwich Union), and they are generally quite helpful. Unfortunately, they were a nightmare when I had make a claim with them. I had to deal with their third party recovery people, who are based internationally.

I was fortunate to find product details on the car insurance section of a product comparison site web site. I think it was www.search-together.co.uk. The information provided was excellent, and I clicked though to Asda's web site. The quote process was really slick, and I got an excellent price on my Tigra, despite my 6 points. I recently changed my address and the call centre staff were excellent.

Great value car insurance and good customer service. Thank you ASDA!

I think that Asda Car Insurance provide insurance in name only as when I came to make a claim I was sent a form agreeing to indemnify them against all expenses - ie, I was asked to underwrite the insurer. When I suggested this was perhaps improper they simply refunded the premium I had paid (5 months after the inception of the policy) and claimed that I was not insured. Need I say more?

I sent in digital photos and a plan of the road layout, however Asda Car Insurance would not take up the case with the third party!

The staff at Asda car Insurance seemed very confused, unreliable and unhelpful, when I had to complete a claim.
