The mypixmania.com website icon appeared on my computer. I have tried and tried to contact the company on advice of how to remove the icon and program. They were most unhelpful. They had the cheek to say that the program had been on my computer when I purchased it 4 years ago. Funny how the icon and program only appeared a few days ago.
Is there anyone out there who can assist ?

Luckily I didn't get as far as placing my order. I had signed up to them about 4 years ago but never used them. I recently received a promotional e-mail offering 40 free prints. As I was about to get some prints done I uploaded 56 photos and went through the process but at no point was there any mention of the offer, I checked back on the e-mail but could not find a promotional code. I e-mailed them using their online contact form which consists of two drop-down boxes which only cover a few issues but there is also a comments box where I entered my query.

All I got back was an auto reply which did not answer my question to my satisfaction.-

I decided to try one more time and asked them to give me a reason why I shouldn't cancel my account and got a reply telling me that they will cancel my account. What is that all about?

Their customer service costs 10p per minute to phone and took forever to answer when I phoned - they didn't seem to understand me when I did get through. I found the contact form online cumbersome and the responses either didn't arrive or didn't make sense to me.

I ordered a photo book from their special offers, noticed that after 2 weeks of waiting the order was still awaiting processing. Contacted them through the website to be told that due to a "Technical Problem" my order hadn't been processed, but would be with me in a week. Sure enough order arrived a week later, but not my order! (If anyone is looking for their holiday photos of Mexico, I've got them). Contacted them again, they replied asking if I'd like a refund as it was now Friday afternoon and "nearly the weekend" so they couldn't now process my order!!! That was 10 days ago and I still haven't got my order.

MyPix.com is a complete waste of space, avoid it like the plague!

Totally agree mypix.com should be avoided at all costs - service I experienced was lousy - customer service number at 10p per minute and took what seemed forever - my order was delayed due to technical difficulties too - have received part of my order which is lovely but 6 weeks later still waiting.

Avoid MyPixMania! Both frames I ordered shattered in the post, thanks to inadequate packaging. Absolutely no response to emails, despite completing their form twice. Photos were ok - no problems, but not as good quality as photobox.

Delivery took AGES! Also, no dates on the back of the pictures (other companies, such as www.photobox.co.uk have the date the photo was taken printed on the back and they offer a quicker service than MyPixMania).

The order from MyPixMania was delivered with a line scored throughout the entire picture set. Four picture sets later there is still an issue with the prints, either scored throughout or poor colour.
An additional order was made to see if they really were that terrible, a simple order of one picture in sepia and one panoramic. Simple. Easy peasy. Not even a shaved chimp could screw this one up! Well, one picture arrived and the panoramic picture is goodness knows where! The picture that did make it was full colour, not sepia as requested.

The photos were never delivered. I received no reply to three different requests by mail. MyPixMania also made me pay for the 20 pictures that were free with first registration. Never had such an experience!

I ordered 30 prints from MyPixMania, taking advantage of the free photo's when you first register. They arrived pretty much on time and I was happy with the quality but I only received 20 prints instead of 30. The email contact address is useless. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.

There is a reason My PixMania offers products at a cheaper price than anywhere else - the quality of the products is very poor, and the customer service is useless.

I ordered a pack of photos, but before confirming my order, I realised I hadn't entered my full address, so I went back to the beginning of the order process and re-entered my address. On confirming this order, I looked at my account summary and found two orders on my account. The first order had been added to my account even though I didn't confirm it! I contacted My PixMania customer service immediately to let them know the problem, and asked them to cancel the first one.

My advice to anyone who dares to even register with MyPixMania is - DON'T DO IT! I heard about the personalised gifts that these printing companies offer (calendars, mouse mats etc) and I received a 15% discount on 'all gifts' coupon for My PixMania. I registered and uploaded the photos as instructed. Eventually, 3 hours later after the website froze twice, I placed my order costing £84.24. This price was incorrect as it hadn't taken into account my order code and the discounted prices which were standard on the website at the time.

I tried calling their helpline, which was completely dead. I emailed them and received a bounceback saying I had to fill in their online form as they no longer read emails to the helpline address. I filled in their online form which had about 3 options of what my query was about (none of these fitted!). I thought I'd give it a couple of weeks and try to contact them again.

I placed the order on the 7th December, the website stated that delivery woulld be within 8 days. After various emails and phonecalls, I received half of my order on the 23rd December and it was completely faulty! the photo's printed on the calendars were all jumbled, parts of the photo's were cut off and duplicated down the page - it looked disastrous. I immediately called them again and Hassane said 'I will try and get replacements to you by the 4th January!! (even though they were working over Xmas time).

So here I am on the 4th January, still awaiting the 10x non-faulty wall calendars and 2x desktop calendars which I never did receive, and after reading the delivery note that came with the goods on the 23rd Dec I discover that I have been charged £124.24. I have just spoken to someone who apologises and states that in this special case - they guarantee that my order will be complete by the end of next week. And to think this is something that can be done in minutes when taken to a shop!

The quality of the goods is completely naff - I could have printed better calendars from home!

I have used other online photo printing services and I decided to try MyPixMania after seeing an ad in Digital Photographer. It's been 14 days now, and while it's nice getting an email saying we are busy and you will have to wait, it would have been quicker to walk to my local chemist. They have not replied to any of the 4 emails I have sent, and they refuse to stop the order so I can use someone else. I will not use these people in future.

I'm having problems with them too - they've taken my money and now are telling me that the payment hasn't gone through due to a technical problem with their site and so they have a record of the order.

On registration with My Pix Mania your "secure" password will be sent via email in clear text for all to see, making your account vulnerable to abuse, this is has yet to be addressed in a mail I sent them over two weeks ago, whatever you do, do not use a password you have used for any other secure online services when you register.
The border and brightness settings can be lost from album to album when ordering prints, making for mixed results, double check before ordering, this is a site design fault and can leave you with or without options you selected as a result. The 96 hour to you door delivery claim is unlikely, my order took 8 working days to arrive. Non-existent customer support. Your emails will not be replied to and if you phone the specified number and press the correct buttons, you will get through to pixmania.com, who in turn cannot transfer you to mypixmania.com, which results in your number being taken, but your calls never being replied to. This company has some serious issues. It appears to be mismanaged, understaffed and generally disorganised. If you can stand all that you may or may not receive some good quality prints at the end of it all...

Having collected about two gigabytes worth of photos since I got my digital camera about 6 months ago, I decided to try some of the many online photo development sites where you simply upload your photos, choose the size, pays your money and wait eagerly at the letterbox every morning for the items to drop through. I fell for My pixmania. And yes, the pictures have arrived today after 2 days and are great quality. Prices are excellent and the best part is their photo packs where you have the credit on your account and a couple of deliveries included and can just order when and from where I want without fumbling up the credit card all the time.
