I ordered a photo book 2 months ago. I still have not received the correct product. This company are a nightmare to deal with. They don't respond to your emails and when I phoned I could barely hear the person on the other end of the phone. It sounded like an Indian call centre to me. A truly awful service. “Very poor quality printing”

I tried snapfish for some cheap prints (£50 6x4” for the cost of postage) for family members and I have to say the results were poor at best. Against my calibrated monitor the colour is frequently miles out with almost a sepia tint on some of them, weak colour and loss of detail in the blacks. The prints had ragged cut edges and some were oddly cropped when the files were sized exactly. The only positive really is that the b&w is neutral which is rare printed on colour paper. Impossible... I ordered a snapfish photobook for a university project final piece. I ordered it 12 days before the deadline just to ensure that it would arrive on time for me to hand it in. However, a week after ordering it, i signed into my snapfish account to look at my order tracking status to see where it was and it appeared as 'cancelled'. i recently tried to order photographs from them, I have used them before. This time my paypal payment was cancelled by them, I tried my bank card, this was cancelled by them. 4 of the enlargements have white scratches on them with have ruined the images. The colour quality overall is terrible, some look like they have a sepia filter! Nowhere near as high quality as the original digital images. All images too dark. Where the the paper has been cropped it has left very rough/ragged edges. The paper used for the enlargements is the same thickness as the 6x4 prints, whilst this paper is fine for 6x4, for 12x8 or 10x8 sizes it is incredibly flimsy. These were gifts... (read more)

I'm surprised at reading that the other reviewers faced poor quality. Mine were fantastic! Colours were sharp and accurate, and that's all I need. I got 70 free glossy 4x6's with free shipping for a promotion that I was extremely fortunate to snap up. I ordered some prints from Snapfish - I used their 'first 50 photos free' service as I was a new customer. The upload and ordering is fairly easy. However - how long does it take to send the photos? I uploaded on 12th November, photos were allegedly processed and sent to me on 13th November. Got a photobook for my wedding, all shots upload as high quality Fine jpegs, terrible terrible results. Grainy looked like i was taken with camera photo, which would had been ok if it had but all shots where taken with my £1000+ dlsr plus full pro lens!!! also massively under exposed despite looking great on my camera plus computer. they might be ok if you are about 13 and take photos with a very old camera photo for your mates and dont give a sh*t about quality otherwise forget it!!! We wanted to make our wedding photos into a book so we could give members of the family a keepsake. Our order came today, which only took a week. I was very disappointed and upset with what we got. After spending time to make sure each photo was of good quality. I was shocked to see how dark the pictures in the photo books have come out. The book was received in good time but with so many issues. Pictures are really dark, and you can notice the colour separation in the pictures... It's really embarrassing to send gifts with this low quality... “Printing quality”

This is the first time I have used Snapfish and I am so disappointed with the results. I had taken wedding photo's that I had taken a good deal of time editing to perfection. 20% of the prints arrived with the bride and grooms heads chopped off and these shots were perfect beforehand. I ordered 90 prints from snapfish which took over two months to arrive – they were to be used as wedding thank you cards, so, as you can imagine, by the time they arrived it was so long after the wedding that we felt embarrassed sending them out. Numerous photographs were cropped badly, ruining the images, and were blurred - despite the fact that I had printed the same photographs perfectly well with another photograph printing service. Thrilled at the arrival of our first daughter we entrusted Snapfish with he task of producung our birth announcements. My wife found the website slow to respond and not very user friendly. The cards arrived within the stated time frame but were of terrible quality. The babys picture had been cropped so as to chop off the top of her head, the paper used was textured and this gave a very mottled to the picture. Having seen the above mentioned cards I was absolutely astonished that they would heve the nerve to send them to the customer, a 5 year old could have produced better.
What should have been a happy time for my neighbours has become nothing more than an extremely annoying disappointment.

The envelopes were too big for the cards

The quality of the prints were poor

The quality of the text in the card was even poorer

Took 8 days to arrive, fair enough it says could take up to 10, but normal prints (poor quality too by the way) took only a couple of days, so why so much longer?

Sent them an email, they said they would get back in 24 hours - it's now 2 1/2 days and I'm still waiting

They lost my order for a personalised Christmas card. They sent an email with an order number saying it would be dispatched but it never was.

The email included a link to the order, but when I got online my history was empty. Lucky I had the email for proof.

When challenged they never explained why the order was missing and blamed the postman. They told me to give it another day and if it didn't turn up they would put a credit on my account.

I placed an order on the 4th of Sep and according to the web site estimated delivery time for photo prints is 4-5 working days. As at the 21st of Sep I'm still waiting!! I've E-mailed to them few times but each time I only received the automated E-mails and not even an explaination of the cause of delay, let alone an apology!!

I just recieved picture from snapfish. I would never ever recommend them to anyone. The pictures are horrible. Too dark (very, very dark). I've got a light skin, but on them I look like from Asia. I'm very disapointed :(. I have written to customer service to tell them that I want to return them and I want a refund. We will see. Those pictures are good to put them into the bin!!! I'm a professional photographer, and a client has recently sent me the Snapfish prints she had ordered from the CD of her photo session, querying the quality. I am appalled at the pixellation, poor cropping, bleeding of colours and general poor management of this printing service. I first used snapfish a couple of months ago. The photos were ok quality and some were dreadful with black splodges and very weird contrast. The original photo file was fine and it was the printing which was the problem. I began to contact customer services, but they have automated replies and it was too much hassle.

Having ordered a fathers day mug with pictures of my son on it for my husband I was disgusted to take delivrey of someone else's mug.

I phoned to explain the situation and they said that it happens a lot.

The issue I wanted addressing was

- where are the pictures of my son???
-Is the replacement going to be here in time for Fathers day???
- Compensation for inconvenience

They didnt know where the pictures have gone, they wont make the deadline and they refunded me £7.50

DO NOT ORDER FROM SNAPFISH!!!! they will delete your order history and your photos but charge you, then try to make out that you never ordered and that they never charged you. i ordered for a birthday and now i have no present to give! heres the answers i got when i went onto live chat the whole thing took about 45 minutes for no answers
