Good Points: Replaced my Canon 7000. Improved print speed and better photo quality. Also single colour cartridges reduced print costs.
Bad Points: After 3 years colour balance degraded and replacement print head more expensive than a whole new model printer. Eventually the absorbant material that soaks up ink at startup and during head clean can't take any more and printer refuses to print. My attempts to strip down failed to remove the print mechanism from the lower part of the plastic case so I couldn't wash and dry the ink absorbing material. I think that this can only be done by Canon agents. Again more costly than buying a new more modern printer.
General comments: Very good for most of its life and cheap to run if you use non Canon ink and paper supplies.
