Good Points: Quality feel to the stock, made in england, consistant.

Bad Points: Bolt needs to be smoother, wood needs to be of better quality i.e. walnut wood from the root not the tree! You get better graining then!

General comments: I love it, I owned an AirArms S410 a while ago, and was looking to buy a new airgun at this years CLA game fair (2008) and tried out both the X2 and the S410, I really really love the S410 but the feel of the stock and the change and accuracy that was equal on both guns the daystate won my wallet to open!Consequently my brother also loves the S410 and purchased on at the game fair aswell. Both guns were in the best calibre which is .177

The only time I had some trouble with the accuracy was one time when the pellets could be seen spiralling in mid air but it seems to have stopped it now. The stock is fantastic. I still can't bring myself to drill a hole in it to fit a bi-pod. The gun can be gripped using the thumb hole or with the thumb upright. Both ways are very comfortable. The gun is a ...

The Daystate Prestige X2 is a well made gun, more accurate than I could ever dream of becoming (hole in hole at 30 rested)I found the 10 shot mag useful but didn't like removing the two screws to replace it with the single shot tray.
So I designed my own magnetic tray to fit without using tools, and it looks very well and is practical and fast to change between single and multi shot in seconds.

What a wonderful rifle the Daystate Prestige X2 is. My first PCP and I had to pay dearly for it. Had to sell two FWB 300's and a Webley Longbow to get it. It was worth it.
AOA took care of all my questions including a long drawn out explanation of how a regulator works.
The regulator. I get 50 full power .22 cal. 25fpe shots before the MV starts to drop. For 50 shots, the MV spread was not greater than 8fps. Even when the MV starts to drop the POI stays the same up to 70 shots total. Then the ...
