    Good Points: This film reminds us all that no matter how nice other older adults are, we're still our parents' children.

    General comments: Spanglish is basically Cristina's admission essay about her mother, Flor Moreno. They are from Mexico and have moved to America for a better life. Eventually, Flor goes to work for the Claskys. When they go on vacation and need her services, she goes with them and takes Cristina, too. Eventually, Mr. Clasky and Flor discover that they are attracted to each other. It would be no problem for Flor considering that she already divorced her husband and the Claskys are considering having the Morenos move in with them and Cristina go to private school, but Mr. Clasky has a wife who loves him and is worried about her feelings.
