Good Points: This album is Hanson's best hands down. The whole album has an upbeat style that makes you want to get up and dance. These brothers are all very talented. Writing, singing, and producing their own work. This album has a lot to offer, the first track called "strong enough to break" is just that......strong. It shows the struggle they went through while separating from their record label and becoming an indie group. The track "penny and me" has a very mellow feeling to it. This was the first single from this album, and definitely a fan favorite. The title track ":underneath" is a slower ballot with a good feel. This song definitely shows the deeper side of Hanson. My favorite song from this album is "lost without eachother." Hanson has a way of taking a sad song (or at least sad lyrics) and putting them with an upbeat tune. It's a great song that literally will make you get out of your seat and dance. They do have some slower ballots on this album like "broken angel" this song is sung by the youngest of the three, Zac Hanson. He really shows his talent in this song and the piano is amazing.
Bad Points: I don't have any bad points to make about this album, it is my all time favorite.
General comments: This album shows a more adult side of Hanson. They've truly grown since the old mmmbop days and unlike many other teen groups, they have continued to improve as they age. I am writing this review four years after this album was released. Hanson has since released another album, but I still believe Underneath is their best work to date. This album can be played straight through without skipping a single track, and will no doubt keep your full attention. These are very talented boys that deserve a lot more credit than they get. If you haven't heard the album yet, I strongly suggest you go purchase it. Trust me, you won't regret it.

The Hanson Underneath album is by far Hanson's best yet, in my opinion. This time all three brothers get to sing the lead vocals at some point where as in other albums Taylor usually takes this role (That is DEFINITLY not a bad thing!)
If you are not really a Hanson fan and are just reading this review out of curiosity then you should know that Hanson's style of music has changed a lot since Mmmbop!
THE ALBUM: 'Dancing in the Wind' starts as an upbeat song that drifts into a slower and contras ...
