Having purchased a HDD from this company and paid the £4.57 for next day delivery, I got an email a day later informing me that due to unprecedented volume in the warehouse (for that read, too many orders and not enough staff), they would be unable to deliver the next day. I called them up and requested that they refund me the delivery cost. However, they flatly refused stating that it was not a guarantee of next day delivery. Ordered Boundle of nvidia shield instead I have received cheaper version on tabled as they wrong labeled their product Item was dispatched with delay despite on check out to be delivered on Monday. I bought a Acer w700 tablet from them. The delivery was good. After a few days of use I noticed ghost touch on the screen. I thought it was a software issue as there were many complains about Windows 8 that time so I thought an update will fix it. “They lie as easily as they breathe”

Scan are a genuinely dreadful company to deal with. They will try to wriggle out their responsibility for faulty good, and will attempt to charge you £30 for 'no fault found' If you refuse to pay, they will then claim to have suddenly found a fault - and to have returned the to the manufacturer. After many weeks the item will be returned to you with exactly the same fault present - clearly, having been sent nowhere. Scan initially attempted to persuade me to deal direct with Acer, but eventually did agree to colect the faulty item. The return took about a week - so no real complaint there. If you simply want a working product, order elsewhere. Don't expect that Scan follows the Sale of Goods Act (SoGA) when you need to return a product - they'll try to abuse you in many subtle ways. If you are ever unlucky enough to process a customer return with Scan, be aware: 1. They usually offer free return postage IF you ask for it 2. It took a bit over the 28 days I was quoted for my motherboard to make its way to and from the Asus repair facility, but it was that or pay another £100 or so for a new motherboard.
