“NEVER AGAIN!!!”

I will never ever EVER!!! Buy from them again. My motherboard malfunctioned. One of the MOSFETs driving the CPU fan was damaged. I returned my £280 motherboard with 3 years warranty to them. Paid 10£ for express tracked delivery. Working as an engineer I am aware what exactly went wrong with the board...I packed the board with anitstatic bag, bubble wrap bag, damping foam, and stuffed the rest of the box with large industrial bubble wrap. I purchased an expensive monitor from Scan, the delivery address changed back to an old address after my first card thought it was a scheme purchase. The second went through on that address. I realised immediately and called them as there is not a page that shows the address and click confirm order. “Duplicate Order Nightmare”

We ordered 3 monitors, but got a website error and no confirmation. We ordered again, only to later find out the first one was also processed. Having received both orders, we requested a refund and free return. Customer service were shocking, blaming us for the error and refusing to acknowledge there was an issue on their side. “Poor customer service and returns policy”

I recently bought a wifi card from scan, unfortunately this was not UEFI compatible or supported by the Compatibility Support Module (CSM) on my motherboard. This is unknowable for the customer before purchase, and can only be deducted after physically testing the card in the machine and ruling out all other possibilities. “Very pool quality with many elements not working”

I was excited about my order and the sequence of emails sent during the build process inspired confidence. Unfortunately the end result had loads of problems. One of the best ways you can judge a company (especially in the PC component business) is to judge it by its after-sales support. Scan are fantastic in this regard. “Wasted our time, took money way before order would be...”

They really wasted our time and the communication was poor/non-existent. We put in a £4K order last week for stuff that was in stock with next day delivery (and yes, they took the money straight away). Got an email saying it was delayed due to stock issues. “Lie to get out of warranty returns”

For not the first time, Scan have refused my RMA request and the warranty service they are legally required to perform. They do this by claiming that the barcode is not the same of the item, yet this is impossible.
