    Good Points: Easy to apply......well, it would be wouldn't it!?


    Bad Points: The statement in their ad that says 'You don't even have to secure the loan on your on your property' is fine as long as you can continue to make all due payments.


    General comments: I got made redundant and have taken out Lombard Direct Loan Insurance, so I will be fine for one year or until I get another job. However, if I were to get a job where I don't earn as much as I did before and offer them reduced payments, they could take me to court and get a 'Charging Order' put on my property, which would mean that at any time they could compel me to sell my home to pay back the debt.
    I cannot live with that over my head, so I chose to sell my house and pay them off to get them off my back. I was told that as I was paying them back in full, they would cancel the County Court Judgement, but this issue is still ongoing. I still have two years left till that is automatically removed from my Credit File, so all in all it will have taken me 6 years to get my life back on track thanks to all these problems, even though my life has changed beyond recognition since this happened, I would not even attempt to get a Mortgage until the 6 years is up and my Credit File is clear.
