“Awful ”

Ordered bed, and during delivery they caused a massive dent to the wall (which is fine, accidents happen). The driver however then 'took a photo of the mark' and said he will sort. My elderly mum signed the delivery note and thought nothing of it. When I chased the issue they denied any knowledge. we purchased a bed from Bensons for Beds 2 years ago. it has already dipped causing back pain. Bensons will not replace under guarantee because it has only dipped 30 mm's rather than 35mm's. we have spent £100's for a worthless item, Bensons take no responsibility… Read Full Review

“Delivery Charge”

Ordered bedroom furniture set, and was informed of a hefty delivery charge, but informed it was due to the fact the furniture was set up by professional installer on delivery. Basically the furniture was delivered more or less set up, and only the wardrobe had to be put together - this taking a full 30 mins in the house, and out again. Spent over £2k on new beds and mattresses. Store staff were great. Delivery time acceptable. When delivered - wrong size mattress, 3 hours later than time I had booked off. When customer service finally responded - another 3 weeks for correct mattress for another half day. “Poor support when things go wrong”

Purchased a Mirabel 6 door wardrobe and founds shelves where damaged upon installation. In addition we ordered extra shelves. Now 3 months later both the extra and replacement shelves arrived and are wrong size. BFB have spent last week blaming supplier in Germany and cannot EVEN guarantee if they order replacements they will fit. sounds familiar. My bedroom unit was damaged and 6 months down the line the replacement doors have also been delivered damaged, not once but THREE times and I am now waiting for a 4th delivery. Customer services are not fit for purpose. This company will not last

Staff in shop could not fault assistant was helpful in everyway possible, things went downhill on day of deliverly. I took a day off work so that I could be at home all day for the delivery, yet I get call saying that they had tried to deliver it but nobody was home so they have gone away and will not be delivering it, yet I am there to answer the phone,so I then phoned up customer service who basically said that the drivers had turned up and what did I want her to do about it. Not told self assembly until we had paid. Sales assiatant said 4 screws to put in. Not true double leather bed with lift up base storage took hours. Needed a trades to assemble. “A company with no future !”

My wife and I recently bought a kind sized bed , mattress, headboard , two mattress toppers and two fitted sheets. Total cost, £1.585.26. In brief it took 16 days to deliver, in itself not too bad. The problem being that the sheets and toppers didn't arrive with the delivery. Not normally too much of a problem but when you've just got rid of your old bed which happened to be smaller, it rendered the bed unusable ! You need to contact the Managing Director, which I have just done today. We have been let down so badly by Bensons. Our order arrived with one bed broken, one bed missing which left only one other bed that was ok. Truly despicable service and the Manager of the Watford branch was horrendous to deal with as their Distribution Centre was closed - don't buy from Bensons

Both myself and my parents separately ordered beds from Bensons. My parents had to delay delivery due to decorating and was told they would be charged. When it came to delivery they said they couldn't deliver not because it wasn't in stock. A new date was arranged and on the delivery date they called and said they couldn't deliver it... When I last ordered furniture from them, they forgot to deliver a chest of drawers, which they eventually delivered after having to make various phone calls. Recently, however, I ordered a bed from Bensons, and they delivered the wrong size of mattress. I called them, to be told they would call back, which they didn't. This happened twice. I am currentyl pregnant and they told that I will get a cupbaord between 6-8 weeks, however after week 10, they were unable to even locate the whereabouts of my cupboard. Although I have called them every day on my lunch break for 3 weeks non stop, thier scustomer service were unhelpful and never helped to resolve anything. I am so disappointed with Bensons. We were delighted to receive the I Gel kingsize mattress in February and were horrified to see the care card that came with it stating it had a 5 years guarantee. We were assured that this mattress had a 10 year guarantee when we purchased it. It cost over £100. I have telephoned numerous times and also called into the store to speak to the manager directly. I purchased a bed online after visiting a store and everyone was brilliant. 3 weeks later, the hydraulics seemed to break on the ottoman pull up feature of the bed and so i was left with a useless storage bed that was very heavy to lift up on my own. I called customer services and after a (very!) long wait was put through to an advisor who was extremely helpful. They sent out new hydraulics and my dad helped me to fix the issue. ordered, 2 drawer base with mattress and headboard, it arrived headboard had split in it, mattress dreadful stain, base no drawers, how do they get it so wrong and does no-one check before it goes out, had to wait weeks for replacement,bearing in mind, time of work ... Twice. , was promised compensation, that was back in March, spoken to several people who have "waffled" ring you back , haven't...... Bordering on rude as well. “Benson For Beds - terrible customer service & non delivery”

Very bad customer service from TOP to BOTTOM, Order two cupboards and head unit back in DEC 2015. Delivery arrived in FEB 2016. Received one cupboard with wrong parts. Contact customer service and they blamed manufacturer and agreed to send the parts again waited for four weeks only for parts. Again contact customer department blamed to manufacturer.
