i bought a king size bed from benson beds in dundee kingsway retail park . the service was good but when got bed back it was in very poor condition and have been trying to get my money back for weeks i have been told every story you could hear from them avoiding refunding my money i payed in cash and have been continiously listening about there policy and visited the shop several times and not much response and spoken to like im some kind of idiot . which i must be after buying a bed from them .avoid buying anything from them and maybe they will teach their employes some comunication skills and manners . i am disgusted and still dont have my money back

It would seem that for every happy customer there is 100 that are treated poorly. You pays your money and you takes your chances. I just purchased a bed from Furniture Village after giving away my top of the range piece of junk from Bensons after it sagged so badly you could almost feel the slats beneath, this was my third replacement bed from them so not just bad luck. The new bed is fantastic and so was the service, you get what you pay for.

Ordered a mattress from Bensons and very pleased with the shop and guaranteed us that it would be delivered between 12 and 6 pm, on the date set by the shop. We paid extra to decide if we wanted am/pm. I took a day off work and still it was not delivered by 6pm. I rang customer service who said the driver had broken down and rang all his appointments, which was a lie and i was in all day and the phone did not ring once, not even customer services too.Poor service and lack of communication by… Read Full Review

Wow another Bensons for Bed employee they are certainly coming out of the woodwork. If you think that taking nearly 2 years of phone calls and threats of legal abuse and having to contact watchdog because a company won't abide by UK law then you must be correct. The venom directed at this company is due to the lack of service once they have your money. Does it not seem strange that the last 2 reviews on here are glowing indictments for Bensons for Beds wow you must think we are all stupid and I wait for the next glowing review. It also seems funny that you got an overview of their customer services from working a weekend on the shop floor when all problems are passed to head office and not dealt with at store level. All the complaints on here are from people that have had appalling service we don't need some idiot that works for Bensons telling us we are all wrong. Now go get a proper job you sanctimonious idiot.

I wonder what department of Bensons for beds you work for as it seems unlikely they would have replaced it so easily when the rest of us go through hell to get anywhere. Nice try but so obviously fake and don't try to pretend its real with some smart arsed comeback as nobody has ever experienced that level of service from the diabolical company that is Bensons for Beds.

It seems your experience has been at the other end of the spectrum.I`ve been contemplating what to say to you to convince you I`m just another customer.I`m one of the hardest to please and my wife likens me to Victor Meldrew at times , so when things go well I tell them so and conversely if they go wrong I tell them.Constructive feedback should help them improve or let them know they are doing it right or wrong.I used to work for Openreach(British Telecom) as a Network Planning engineer and had very high standards.Customers were not aware of the complexity involved providing Circuits over Fibre Networks or Microwave and thought you had a magic wand.I would encourage customers who were not satisfied to write to the CEO.If there were flaws in the system he needs to know and sometimes it was drilled down to me and I would explain.
You need to write to Bensons CEO, be constructive, and please don`t think I`m being patronising.

“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY”

I ordered and paid for triple bunk beds on 1 August 2014 online. I received confirmation email with an order number and delivery date of 25 September, I had believed the bunk beds would be delivered with in 14 days. I was going to have to wait 7 weeks for delivery. At beginning of September I was sent another email saying delivery delayed until 31 October, then at later date another email stating a problem with supplier and delivery delayed until 24 November!! “Avoid run for the hills and don't get ripped off ”

I currently have a top of the range sleepmasters mattress which is the third one I have had after the original 2 had chronic sagging issues and guess what this one is about to go in the skip as it sags. “Awful company! Disgraceful attitude!”

This company is an absolute shambles full of tools who do not even understand their own terms and conditions. I had to change my order and they tried to charge me 10% re selection fee which isn't in their contract plus another delivery charge. This amounted to near enough £90 which coincidently was the same as the cancellation fee. They were so thick they didn't understand that I'd rather cancel than give them another £90. Keep pushing I spent a year phoning them and eventually got them to swap it then another 6 months to swap the second sagging mattress and now my third one has sagged. My advice if you have a recording then by law the mattress is not fit for purpose and you are entitled to a refund.

I placed 2 separate orders with bensons, one for a bed and headboard, which I'm quite happy with, and a second for bedroom furniture that I'm very unhappy with. I placed an order for a bed to be delivered today 20th November and was given a delivery time range between 12 noon and 6pm. I had to take the afternoon off work to wait in for the delivery. Guess what don't believe it when they say it will be delivered on the day or between the times given, no delivery, no phone call to say it wasn't coming and you can't even contact the company on the phone as the office closes at half past five. “Never buy from this company”

We ordered the complete range of the Moreno back in August, Received our first delivery in October after waiting for all of it to be built in Germany. Our first delivery came and everything apart from overbed unit was incorrect this was down to the store manager at the time placing the order incorrectly, We were told we would have to re order again and wait another 6-7 weeks for the correct furniture.
