I bought a bed in March from Bensons in Bromborough, the staff were very helpful I went in quite a few times trying the beds, however when I finally bought one it wasn't right for me so I used the forty day trial offer, once again the staff both customer services and in store couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. They gave me plenty of time to look for a new bed and assured me it wasn't a problem how long it took finding the right one. My new bed is perfect I would definitely buy… Read Full Review

“RIPPED OFF AGAIN BY BENSONS FOR BEDS”

“Great experience at Merry Hill Store”

I can only commend John at the Merry Hill store. Spent a little more than intended but was well worth it for the customer service and product we recieved. It was a pleasure from start to finish and would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a bed. Personally I don't think you can tar all benson for beds shops with negative feedback and this is proven by the experience I had. Even the delivery driver was pleasant. “Delivery And Customer Services”

Absolute rubbish customer services no help what so ever. I was told that I would get a call when delivery was being made NO CALL RECEIVED even though they insist they tried my son was in the house and heard nothing say they deliver until 6 called them and my bed was back at the depot by 3.30 and that is 150 miles from me. I think someone had an early day probably to hot to deliver beds and the best part is they can't re arrange delivery for the best part of a week don't throw your old 1 out… Read Full Review

“Proud to sell awfull quality”

We bought Royal Crown Ortho Super King Divan from Bensons and was really excited to get it. We had our old Seally for 7 years and being 5 months pregnant, we thought it was time to treat ourselves with a new one. After the second night of sleeping on the bed, it was sagging in and you could visibly see where we slept the previous night when we got into bed. I ordered a bed on-line - easy-peasy. A delivery date was given. The day before they rang to confirm delivery between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. On the day at about 7.30 a.m. the delivery men rang to say they would be delivering the bed in the next 45 mins, which usually means 2 - 3 hours later. “Useless delivery men”

I recently spent a significant amount of money on new beds and new bedroom furniture. The store I visited in Keighley was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately their delivery team let them down. The beds arrived and my sister had stayed in for the day, the two delivery men were rude and unhelpful. I assumed that as I was ordering bedroom furniture they would carry it to the bedroom rather than dumping everything in the conservatory leaving the two of us dragging everything… Read Full Review

Our bed was delivered only yesterday so I can't comment on product usage. However the service we received at the Eastbourne outlet was excellent. The sales staff weren't at all pushy and very polite. Even more polite were the two delivery chaps who arrived bang on time after a call 30 minutes before. “Poor quality beds”

We were drawn into the sale prices and bought one of Bensons for Beds top of the range divan sets for half price. We realised pretty quickly we'd made a mistake on the comfort of the mattresses that we'd picked and were able to take advantage of their comfort guaranttee. However we were not happy with what was on offer for replacements as we could not find any bed that fitted in with our new criteria even in their biggest store. “Bensons for beds equals a waste of money”

Whatever you do DON’T waste your money buying an expensive bed from Bensons for beds. 12 months ago I bought a bed which they quoted £2,400 for so I expected it to be a well-made comfortable bed which would last a long time. Ok £2.400 was their mickey mouse price as like all their beds the hyped up price was deflated to a more realistic level but £1,000 just for a base and a mattress was still an expensive bed. “Fabulous Products & Service”

We went into the Team Valley store to purchase a Super King Size mattress. We were welcomed by the lady manager who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and who let us test mattresses for 40 minutes without any pressure. “smelly matress ”

No problems with staff in store problem came with arrival of new memory foam matress . Delivery guy said may smell for few days of new bed. A month later it still stinks. So much so we sleep in the spare bed rather than our eight hundred pound king size bed. We complained. A so called independent person came around who said oh memory foam matress. “Worst Mattress & Poor Afersales - Never Buy from Them”

I purchased a bed from Bensons for Beds two years ago. I have a very bad back and although I had a good quality bed and mattress I decided to buy a high bed and mattress at a cost of over £1600. same response i got on my reviewcentre review! ha ha. rubbish, they don't contact you! i emailed them 4 times and they ignored every email. this reply from jkbensonsforbeds is just about public image than anything. its about making them look like they are doing something about the issue and care... i am yet to receive any show of concern from anyone at bensons.

I had a very similar experience from these guys. Perhaps channel 5 could do a series about them.

My bed also soon started dipping badly despite it being the most expensive bed in the shop. Your expert said that if it dipped was more than 25mm they would do something about it.. Mine dipped by nearly 30mm but the "expert" said that 35mm was the point of being faulty. I wonder if the bed dipped 40mm would he say that 45mm was the crisis point?

Initially I was very happy with Bensons service but when it comes to faults they show their true colours as they are only interested in taking your money.
I wouldn't buy from them again even if there was 90% off.

“Bed not like one tested, rude cust care, will not take...”

We have just spent nearly £1000 on a luxury bed from Benson For Beds. First night I tried to sleep on it I ended up on the sofa. It is incredibly uncomfortable, nothing like the one we tested in the shop. Not only that but the buttons dig into us making this bed totally unfit for purpose. Customer service do not care, they want us to spend £120 to return it! The bed is awful, yet the one in the shop was very comfortable and had no issues with the buttons digging into our ribs !!! UNBELIEVABLE. let me just say this JKbensonsforbeds, I have emailed customer services 4 times over the last few weeks and they haven't even bothered to reply! considering customer services state they will respond within 24 hours of receiving an email - forgive me if I have absolutely no confidence whatsoever in this reviewcentre response.
why don't you put your full, real, name on here with a contact number to show you are from bensonsfordebs and sincere about your concerns! i find it hard to believe you can respond on here but ignore 4 emails sent directly to customer services. perhaps this is more about trying to convince readers you care than actually genuinely caring. i can assure you all, NO ONE from Bensonsforbeds has replied to any of my emails and they were rude on the phone to my wife. WE HAVE HAD TO SPEND CLOSE TO £300 MORE TO PURCHASE A SUITABLE REPLACEMENT - THEY HAVE CHARGED US £130 TO RETURN THE MATTRESS THAT WAS UNCOMFORTABLE TO SLEEP ON. WE HAVE BEEN TO ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR SHOPS SINCE WHERE A MEMBER OF STAFF ADMITTED THEY HAVE HAD SEVERAL CUSTOMERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE BUTTONS DIGGING IN TO THEIR BODIES WHILST THEY TRIED TO SLEEP. OURS WAS SO BAD I DIDN'T EVEN MANAGE ONE NIGHT IN IT... I SLEPT ON THE COUCH!!
FUNNY HOW WE WERE NOT TOLD THIS WHEN WE MADE OUR PURCHASE !! THE MOST ANNOYING THING ABOUT ALL THIS IS THEY WOULD NOT GIVE A REFUND SO WE HAD TO BUY OUR REPLACEMENT FROM THEM. THE ORIGINAL SALES MAN LIED TO US AND TOLD US WE HAD 40 DAYS TO RETURN IT, NO QUIBBLES, BUT LATER FOUND OUT THIS WAS A LIE. AS WE ONLY BOUGHT THE MATTRESS THIS DID NOT APPLY. HE KNEW HE WAS LYING. HE ALSO TOLD US WE HAD 5 YEAR GUARANTEE - LIE AGAIN AS IT IS ONLY 12 MONTHS IF YOU ONLY BUY THE MATTRESS. THE MATTRESS ON ITS OWN WAS NO CHEAPER THAN BUYING THE ENTIRE BED WITH FRAME! THEY HAVE MADE MORE MONEY BY KEEPING THE FRAME TO SELL TO SOMEONE ELSE!

The delivery time was altered, due to availability, but it did arrive on the correct date!
