“2 failed deliveries and no contact”

First delivery was arranged for between 12pm and 6pm on 16th, no one showed up or bothered to call. Customer services had already closed for the evening so I could not speak to anyone. I had to call them in the morning and had my delivery arranged to the 18th between 7am and 1pm. Again, no one showed up and no one bothered to call. We bought a memory foam mattress from the Bury store we have only had it for 5 months, the mattress has dipped badly even though we have rotated it, Bensons sent a technician who said this is the style of the mattress and there is nothing we can do. We purchased an Ottoman bed from Bensons for Beds 18 months ago and this weekend one of the wooden blocks that supports the bed frame has completely disintegrated and as result the frame has twisted and the gaskets have gone. My wife had lifted this up to get something out of the storage and the whole frame and mattress came down on top of her leaving her with cuts and bruises. “Don't go to this company for a bed they have no scruples”

I have just bought a new matress from Bensons for Beds. It was expensive (£800) but within one day of delivery it began to sink causing me back pain. I had been assured that this bed would assist in reducing my back pain. When I spoke to the shop I bought it from I was rold that "customers services" would assist me. Do not buy from Benson for beds. I ordered a bed from them a week ago and I was told that I'll have to collect the bed from them after a week. We paid £1500 for a bed with ottoman storage. The first time we opened the ottoman it would not close. One of the inside hinges was disconnected, after much trouble and nearly decapitating my husband we managed to close it. We had to, as we had 9 to sleep for my husband's 70th. We ordered a bed an expensive one at over £1500. Went in a couple of times to look and make sure it was the right one. We ordered it, during this time we had many discussions with the sales people about our new small house! The bed arrived and delivery guy said that the mattress wouldn't fit up the stairs unless they bent it and damaged it and we would have to sign a disclaimer first. He recommended we didn't. A Day of Issues: On the 29th of October i ordered a bed and mattress, to be delivered on 25th November (today) This morning a delivery truck arrived with two nice gentlemen who unloaded our new Bed frame. they then proceeded to tell me that the mattress was not on the van. This company is an absolute disgrace, i cant believe they are still trading. Bought a Benson's bed in September 2015 with a 40 day comfort promise of an exchange if not suitable. Not told you have to pay 10% of returned bed value + another delivery charge when exchanging the bed, which you are allowed to do only once. Also not told about settlement i.e. the mattress would dip/sag, which was explained in the documents given to me AFTER we purchased the bed. Mattress sold without customers being informed that it would require turning/rotating for up to 12 weeks and monthly thereafter. Mattress had dips and ridge in centre within 9 nights. “broken furniture on delivery”

waited 6 weeks for Mirabel furniture to be delivered only for it to be damaged on arrival the delivery men dropped one of the flat packs on the pavement outside our house taking a chunk out of it, and then tried to hide it from my wife when they brought it into the house. they took the wardrobe away with them and left us with the 2 set of drawers of which my wife only checked 1 on delivery when I came in from work I went to put the handles on the 1 she had opened and they had only supplied 4… Read Full Review

“Taking Delivery, Appalling Experience.”

Delivery men had difficulty getting mattress for the new bed upstairs, same with the click sofa bed delivered at the same time. Required my help and suggestions how it best be managed. The two delivery guys were all for taking the items back without really trying. Told me that they are not allowed to lift more that 42KG between the two of them and the sofa bed box stated 46KG. We purchased a Sleepmaster mattress three years ago after being sold the value of the memory foam top to extra comfort. After two years, we noticed sagging. After approaching Bensons they suggested they would send an independent specialist to check things out. The guy who came to our home to evaluate the bed was very unprofessional.
