Good Points: Lightweight, easily manoeuvrable, easy to fit car seat
Bad Points: Handle a bit on the low side, vague instruction booklet, front wheels don't always line up when folding
General comments: We were advised not to buy the carry cot, as it would not see much use. Instead, we used our car seat and haven't missed the carry cot at all. Our son is 4 months old and we've now started using the fabric seat - they recommend 6 months, but he's a big lad!Maybe they've revised the front wheels, because we've had none of the problems mentioned in other reviews. My only gripe is that the handle could be higher and/or raked back at more of an angle.

I've loved the Micralite Pushchair, even when the front wheel broke down. Micralite and John Lewis were extremely helpful at getting a set of wheels when one broke down. I found it the best pram to move around, with the back pneumatic wheels and the one piece handle. The only problem is that it's a bit expensive for what it is, and that the design could be improved for the transition to be easier from carrycot to sitting up, which is not suitable until 6 months.Still, we lost our Micralite, and ...

The front wheels are poorly manufactured in my opinion - we've had two sheer off in two years. Micralite claim you can collapse the push chair single handed - I personally can't (sometimes you get lucky trying this) - this is an awkward push chair to collapse for me.
Anyone taller than about 5'6" will find the handles too low, and positioned in such away that you can barely stride as you walk behind it.
The shopping basket underneath is incredibly awkward to access.
In push chair mode, the seat ...

The front wheels of the Micralite Pushchair seem flimsy, and one of the wheels broke off when going up a curb, the pushchair was just out of guarantee and I had to pay a large amount to get this repaired.
I would not recommend this product

I have used the Micralite for nearly 3 years for both our children (although I also use a tandem when we are going too far for my eldest to walk).
I have found it to be excellent, but am now looking to replace it as I need one that reclines. I was very disappointed when I first realised this one didn't recline - it is such a shame.

i LOVE this pushchair!! ive got it in the newborn travel system and use it with the maxi cosi seat and also the carry cot. this has served me very well with two children and we've taken it camping, on muddy dog walks, on the beach on skiing holidays and its still in great condition and not showing any signs of falling apart with our rough and heavy usage. we still love it and if i had to buy all over again i would buy this again without a doubt. it folds up small, when you need to overload the c ...

I love this stroller. I feel like it's the only one on the market that has successfully paired all the aspects of a light weight small folding stroller with the capabilities of a larger urban stroller. Sometimes I wish I sprung for the Toro to get the flat recline but other than that I love it.

Would not buy again, and am currently trying to get a refund from where I purchased it - which was online and makes it a lot more difficult to communicate than from a local shop.

I have four children and have had many many pushchairs!!!!! Among them some very good pushchairs, so when I was expecting baby number four I was yet again faced with the massive choice of which pushchair to buy? With three children in the car already we needed a fairly compact pushchair to fit in the car. I liked the look of the Micralite and found it folded small-so I read the reviews and bought a Micralite pushchair/carry cot complete with car seat adapters. When my husband saw it he said cool ...

I used the Micralite pushchair for at least six months with my 2.5 year old, and then used as the travel system/pushchair for my youngest, who is now 1 - it's still going strong, and it looks in excellent condition. Despite my gripes, I firmly believe that this is the best pushchair on the market, and the pros definitely outweigh the cons. My second choice was the Bugaboo, which I discounted due to the weight, size when folded, price, and also because I didn't think it looked as good.

It's a shame, because the Micralite is a good pushchair, but it really needs to be more robust, especially as it is so expensive. Now I'm starting to think I should have invested in the bugaboo!

Shopping for a baby buggy was a headache from hell; particularly as it needed to fit into a Mk1 Honda Civic car boot. One particularly good local retailer tried selling us all sorts of massive £500 marvels, but I liked the slightly quirky look of the Micralite, so I asked the Australian shop assistant to show it to us. After she had fought and struggled with all the other buggies, suddenly she dealt with this one with aplomb. With one hand, she took hold of it and it almost vanished with a ...

Very disappointing, I loved using my Micralite Pushchair with the carrycot for 4 months but after it broke, nearly tipping my baby into the road I felt it was not safe to use again, even once repaired.

I have a Micralite Pushchair, which I bought for my 6th baby, having never used one. I love it! I have bought the foot muff for the winter and have the rain cover too. I will be getting a different colour new one soon as baby is still young. This is so easy to steer with a toddler (3 1/2 year old).
It's a great pushchair for baby 6 months plus, if you want an easy one-handed pushable, an easy one-hand folding and light weight, then this is great and I find my baby is comfy in it. Also it's B ...

Micralite Pushchair is a cheaply made expensive product. Parts that are supposed to be strong and durable are made of cheap plastic and keep breaking. The hammock like seat is very uncomfortable. It gives little support for baby's back - baby keeps sliding down and ends up lying with neck bent almost 90 degrees.

Do not waste your money buying this pushchair. We had just of a year's use out of it and found it reasonable for that time, although the folding mechanism was always variable and difficult. However, (just as it went out of guarantee of course) the front wheel came off one day whilst I was crossing the road with my 15 mth in sitting. Given it's design the whole pushchair collapsed and I was left trying to get a child out of the pushchair and all of us to the pavement. It was potentially very ...

We loved the Micralite pushchair to start with, as it was light and easy to steer. It was ideal around town, but could also cope with off-road thanks to the big rear wheels (although the front wheels are rather flimsy and very noisy). The problems came when we moved on to the pushchair seat. Once our then 4 month old daughter could turn over we had to stop using the carrycot, but she was just too small to be strapped in to the seat itself. Even now at nearly 7 months we have to use an additional ...
