    Good Points: Good looks, lots of space, very well equipped for price, facelift model has many refinements over previous model


    Bad Points: haven't found any so far


    General comments: This Hyundai Santa Fe 2000 CDX SUV is the second Santa Fe I've owned. The first was a 2001 2.4 petrol model, this one is the new facelift version that appeared late in 2004 and is a 2.0 Diesel. I always swore I would never buy new but was so impressed with this new version I just had to have it. I decided on diesel as I have a long commute and wanted better fuel consumption, so far I've averaged 39 mpg over all on the combined cycle which is great.
