Good Points: Roomy Quick for a 1400 Cheap Good cruiser
Bad Points: Wallowy handling Numb power steering Torque steer "Old man" image Thirsty
General comments: Bought my Rover to replace a Citroen AX GTI, regretted it quickly. Wanted something bigger and more mature, but I missed the quick, sporty little AX's handling. Good car for what it is, smooth on the motorway, quiet in town, but no fun on a back road, rolls about in the corners and the dead feeling steering doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I reckon sports shockers and poly bushes would help a bit, but I'm not really keen to spend much on it. Fancy a corrado now.
